My father was raised on a farm in Paraguay, South America in the 50's/ 60's where his Dad and Uncles all grew Yerba Mate leaves. So naturally they all drank it as a hot tea (old school way; wooden cup & metal straw to filter out the leaves.🧉) It tasted bitter but gave you lots of energy & mental clarity. Both my parents drank it when I was a kid, but they drank it cold in the summertime. (Wooden cup but poured over with a pitcher of Lipton iced tea w/ mint leaves, sugar & fresh squeezed lemon.) My point being? These energy drinks are amazing. Do they taste like my folks summer tea? Yep, maybe even better. My gal and I have been drinking them for 12+ years now. They really give me a boost of natural energy, focus and lift my mood as well. All the ingredients are naturally derived and it's not too sweet. 'Enlighten Mint' is my favorite but the Lemon one is good too. Red Bull & Monster drinks just don't compare. Most of them mess with your heart & blood pressure. I drank coffee for over 10 years daily, and I always got the afternoon crash. Also coffee stains your teeth which obviously isn't good. My friend told me about yerba tea and it's so much better than coffee (NO CRASH) and it's tastes awesome. I like this flavor (blue) and the "revel berry" I think it's called. One suggestion for everyone is wait 2-3 hours after you wake up to drink caffeine, period. ... show more

I order these yerba mate drinks, two cases every four weeks I have them on AutoShip. I also will buy cases when I go and visit my children. I had just ordered two cases to be delivered to my daughter’s house and 1 of the cases ( bluephoria) came damaged. I was only able to salvage two cans, it looks like one of the cans were damaged, but instead of it being liquidy in the box, it was more gel like, and it was all over the other cans. I like this product, as I said, I order at minimum three cases a month two cases on AutoShip. I’ve never had a problem before, and I am having difficulty on returning/exchanging this product.
