I finally got around to installing the jack on my trailer. I like how it operates. Out of the box it is very smooth to operate and works well. The only gripe I have with it is the installation. While not overly complicated or difficult it was still a bit of a hassle. There are no instructions-- at all-- I had to study the product photos on the box to deduce how the parts should be turned on each side of the trailer tongue. Also the nuts were very difficult to attach to the bolts. I suppose this is to prevent them from backing off on their own. The length of the bolts made running them up tight a tedious task. Finally, the length of the bolts is designed to fit a wide size range of tongues. Once installed on my trailer's tongue made them stick out far enough that they look like they could possibly be a minor hazard. All that being said, Once it was mounted I was very happy with the jack, its performance and the price. ... show more

I put this on my old atv trailer as it didn't have a good jack. The swivel made it good for towing so I could put down the tail gate to have a atv in the back.

I mounted this on my wood splitter and it works great. I wanted to replace the existing stand where you had to feed a pin through a hole on each side of the tongue frame and it was a pain trying to get the pin to line up and go thru both holes. This makes it much easier to put the stand up or down and having the round disc at the bottom instead of a wheel keeps my splitter in place where ever I position it. If it was something that was much heavier to move around, then I probably would have gone with a locking wheel, but they are more expensive. The bolts were much longer than they needed to be, but can easily cut them down. Also have to pay attention when tightening the bolts to make sure the jack stays straight and does not lean one way or the other. ... show more
