This product is piece of mind. Once inserted onto the trailer there is no easy removal method and cutting it off would be difficult.

    • in 5-6 years the hasp will start to spot rust. lock works everytime
after having one of these for 10 years in Florida so it has proven to be very tough at least to the weather and I have not lost any equipment. I am tempted to buy one and try the sledgehammer test and a 4" cutoff wheel just to see what it might take to break it. It is very easy to put on and take off and it looks intimidating. My original lock is still working fine and I put the new one on another trailer, life is good. ... show more

Not a solid deterrent to a determined thief but it works good. I would recommend something heavier duty for an expensive trailer due to the materials. My trailer is surrounded by cameras and lights which adds protection. I have purchased a better quality lock for my more expensive trailer just an FYI..... ... show more

My partner’s rv trailer was stolen while in a dealer’s lot. She has no longer left our trailer without this security lock and we are now able to comfortably travel away from our trailer and know that it will be there when we get back. Good feelings.

Could still be cut with some power tools. They are inexpensive and well built. I think they are too much work for a criminal to mess around, so they do the job as intended.
