Sizing before buying
Size: 1-7/8"
Style: Universal Trailer Coupler Lock
Decided to buy three of these coupler locks for my travel trailer, jetski and dump trailer. However, during the installation, I could not get the one of the lock to fit on the travel trailer. It appears that the opening on the lock is 3-7/8” and the trailer coupler is 4”. Amazon buyers, be mindful the opening on the trailer coupler before buying this lock. Overall, the lock is good; bright yellow to deter individuals, smooth removal and installation. Only time can tell for attempted theft and weather.

Reliable trailer lock for peace of mind
Size: 1-7/8"
Style: Universal Trailer Coupler Lock
I feel confident leaving my trailer parked because this lock is tough and dependable. The sturdy build reassures me that my trailer is secure, and the adjustable lock feature is a real plus when dealing with different coupler sizes. It's a practical choice that has worked well for me.

It does a job It's not perfect but it does what I wanted to do
Size: 1-7/8"
Style: Universal Trailer Coupler Lock
You know it's hard to find something that's with good quality. Something that can't be cut very easily but then again if you have a diamond blade or a plasma cutter you can pretty much cut through anything. But for what I'm using it for just on the outside of my house to park my trailer it works good. I have multiple things on my trailer for theft. I have a tire lock also a hitch lock plus this. I live in a super safe neighborhood but I guess you never know I just want to be on the safe side. Overall I'm pleased with this product It doesn't seem super heavy-duty. But againI do live in a safe neighborhood but I just want to be on the safe side It's more of a deterrent looking at it than if someone really wants something they're going to take it. But overall I'm pleased if I find something different maybe someday I'll get that. But if you're looking at this style of hitch type lock it does a job. Again if someone really wants that trailer they're going to find a way to take it

Got what I paid for
Size: 1-7/8"
Style: Universal Trailer Coupler Lock
My issue with this lock is it’s very loose. It moves around quite a bit, even when the trailer coupler is locked on top the locks ball. I think the problem is twofold, the teeth on the locks U rod are big so it gives it too much to play. On top of that since there’s only teeth on one side of the locks U rod the other side is moving free which allows it to flex a lot. I wish I would’ve considered that because I wouldn’t have bought it. I have another similar style trailer coupler lock and it has teeth on both sides of the U rod, and they are finer, so I’m able to get a tighter fit with very little movement and play. This Reese will work for the time being, but I’m going to do more research and get a better lock. I got this on sale for under $20 so let’s be honest the expectations can’t be that high. This is not going to necessarily keep your trailer from getting stolen, it’s deterrent. It even says that on the packaging. Apparently this Lock is not very difficult to defeat. The nice ones aren’t necessarily going to keep someone from stealing your trailer either if someone wants it bad enough and knows what they’re doing. Don’t get it. The hope is that the lock will hold out long enough that attention is drawn to the thief, and they are discovered. All that being said nothing!
