The thing I'm impressed with the most is how quiet this unit is. We've had trouble before with similar items being vacuum loud and scaring the dog enough to not be able to use. This one is extremely quiet and has three settings for suction. It would be nice if the attachments stuck somewhere on the unit so they don't get misplaced, but that's a minor annoyance and don't take away from the fact that this is a good all in one grooming kit. I LOVE and 10000% recommend buying a grooming vacuum if you're on the fence about getting one. This one is really nice, works just as well as any other grooming vacuum, comes with a lot of attachments, and has the same suction as more expensive ones -- only drawback I'd say it has is that it's only 1.5 liters, so it will need to be emptied SUPER frequently. ... show more

Small and compact this groomer vac still has a lot of oomph while being fairly quiet. I use the low speed for the actual cutting and the higher speeds for the cleanup afterward. The collection canister is smallish as well but I dump it after each use anyway. The hose is expandable. It stretches out easily enough but unexpanding it takes too much time and effort so I just leave it at full length. It comes with a variety of attachments, most of which I haven't used yet. In the description it says 2 A batteries required. They must mean 2 AA. Even then they must be referring to the factory installed rechargeable batteries in the clipper. It takes some practice and patience (read: trial and error) to get the hang of using it but once you do you'll love the results. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This pet grooming kit is small, lightweight and very portable. It is quieter than I figured it would be which is great! It comes with several attachments and everything you need. My cat will not tolerate being “vacuumed “ but I keep this in the laundry room where her litter box is for sucking up loose litter that she tracks out of her box. When I vacuum my cats recliner, I just bring this vacuum into the living room and use the hair collector brush on the chair. With three power levels, it works great. This is the second vacuum type dog grooming tool that I’ve tried. I’ve tried the dog grooming tool attachment to my normal vacuum which was really burdensome to use, so I was excited to try a stand alone tool. This one is really nice! I have a husky mix who has a very very thick winter coat. This tool works really well on his fur. There are 3 vacuum suction settings - all are really quiet and don’t bother my boy. I don’t find it necessary to go above the middle setting. The brush attachment has little nubs on the ends of the bristles so they don’t hurt or scratch your dog. I rubbed it on my skin and it was pain free. It also comes with several other attachments - one that looks to be for furniture. I used it on my couch and it works! The clipper is also really cool - you can use it detached or attached to the vacuum. If you use it attached, it vacuums the trimmings right up. The clipper is battery powered and comes with a charger. It also shows you the remaining battery power in the digital screen it has. The clipper worked really really well on his paws - clipped the hair right off and was sucked up in the vacuum with one try without any injury to his paws. I was able groom my whole dog without having to empty the canister part way through. Overall, this is a really nice tool. The quality is great - it was designed well, had several actual useful attachments and I’ve used it several times now with no issues. I’d recommend this!! So much better than a brush and does a great job at cleaning up the mess as you groom. ... show more

    • Impressive power
I was surprised by how quiet the first setting was on this vacuum groomer. It allowed me to get my Husky used to it before turning up the power. It has three power levels with the strongest being great for vacuuming the dog bed or my couch. It came with many useful attachments but the shedding brush was the best. Simply attach the brush, turn on the vacuum and as you brush your dog simply push the button on the attachment and the hair is pushed off the brush and sucked into the vacuum. Very convenient and now I don’t have hair everywhere from brushing. It also comes with a shaver that also attaches to the vacuum so the hair you shave is immediately sucked up into the vacuum. This is a game changer for me as my Husky constantly sheds hair. A good way to get your dog to not be scared from the vacuum is to turn your tv up loud the first few times you use it so the dog doesn’t even realize there’s a vacuum on. This technique worked for me and now my dog has no problem with the sound or me using it. I highly recommend this product if you have pets. ... show more

    • Makes grooming a breeze
My 12 year old pup is now banned from returning to a few groomers in the area due to his crankiness and stubbornness during haircuts. I decided to give this a try and do it myself in the comfort of home. My dog is definitely much happier and I am definitely excited to be saving that money. I love how it suctions up the hair so you don’t wind up with a huge mess. The razor itself seems to feel comfortable enough on him because he stays still and doesn’t try to escape like he typically would.
