Solid quality keyboard! Worth every penny and it wasn't even expensive! Actually loving the side macro keys, as opposed to the top placed that most are.... even if it took some adjustments at first. The wrist pad included with it is also of good quality and locks in tight to the keyboard, never wandering. Button presses feel very responsive and the membrane keeps it very quiet. I know a lot of people love the clicky clacky keyboards, for whatever reason, but for the person not trying to have their wife throwing stuff at them due to keyboard sounds, this is perfect!

Pretty good keyboard for cheap. I tried 4 other ones but their buttons and distance from one another just didn’t fit me. This one I occasionally hit caps look, but no big deal. Brightness is great and it can also change to many different colors. Simple 2.0 usb connection is normal. Would buy again.

The media could not be loaded. Update 1.5 year later: Keyboard is still going and now I only using it for gaming. My only complaint is that my spacebar key has gotten rather loud. When I'm typing with this keyboard and I hit the space, it's so loud and almost sounds like there's a janky spring in there recoiling in a cruddy manner. Other than that, it's still going strong and the rest of the keys aren't too loud. It finally came time to say goodbye to my Corsair mechanical keyboard. The ICUE software that Corsair products require is absolutely junk. I HAD to have the software running for my headset to work with Discord, but running the software kept randomly disconnecting my keyboard, rendering it useless despite hours of troubleshooting. I know and love Redragon and I'm on a tight budget right now. I got lucky and the Shiva keyboard was on sale, so I snagged one up. I have no regrets in buying this keyboard. Quality: the keyboard it's not too heavy, but feels pretty sturdy. The cord is braided and feels tough. Sound: very quiet for being a gaming keyboard. It's sound is pleasing and not deafening for those I'm in discord with. Feedback/feel: the keys feel smooth, but also give a little feedback that feels similar to a mechanical keyboard. The responsiveness of the key presses is lightning fast. Appearance: this is a nice keyboard to look at. The RGB lights are easy to adjust to your liking and the instruction manual gives clear instructions on how to do it. The magnetic wrist rest is also nice and visually appealing. Overall impression: I am quite pleased with this purchase. It's not too big or too small. Fits nicely on my desk and looks good. This keyboard is used for work and gaming and does great for both. I have been using Redragon products for years. I have owned an Impact M908 MMO mouse for several years and it's quality, comfort and affordability are great. I added the Anvil GS520 speakers to my setup about a year ago, and their sound quality are pretty good for the price point not to mention super easy to use and nice looking on my desk.

The Redragon Shiva K512 is a well-built, responsive keyboard with vibrant RGB lighting and onboard macro programming that’s refreshingly simple. I actually prefer its feel and layout over my old Corsair setup. But there’s a key limitation: the G1–G6 macro keys are programmed directly on the keyboard, not through software. That means they don’t register as system-level hotkeys. If you’re using OBS Studio or any app that relies on global shortcuts, these macros won’t work unless the app is in focus. For streamers, video editors, or anyone automating background tasks, this is a serious drawback. If you’re using the macros for in-game actions or foreground control, it’s a great value. But if you need true global hotkey behavior, especially for production workflows, be aware of this limitation before buying.

i love this keyboard and i haven't even played with all the extra gadgets on it... not sure where to begin. quality, sound, speed, are all great! i love the wrist rest bar on the front (perfect magnet strength) . my only down size is it it larger then i am used to so i have trouble pressing the escape fast in game play but thats more of a hand size problem and is corrected with custom keep binding it to another button for the games i need it in.

Great lighting control, and easy-to-follow instructions. I was worried as I have problems with light sensitivity in my eyes. This is a soft pink light on the 2nd to last setting and it's perfect for me. Even though it does show a deep purple in the photos. I didn't need to do any software uploads. I have a new win11 and I just plugged it in. The buttons are deep, soft, gel-like, springy, and quiet. I love that about the keys, but the keys are slightly further apart so the light comes through more. That is a quarter in the photo to help show you the key depth and space. You don't need to tap them very hard for the key to stroke. Very quick to respond. The wrist rest is amazing! Love that because the keys are so deep and spread apart the wrist rest puts your hands at the right height and angle for typing. The keyboard and wrist rest have a good weight to them. They feel very well made, not cheap or flimsy, and with a secure magnet hold. The cord that attaches to your PC is not wrapped in plastic, it's a nice cotton fiber wrap. Very pleased with my purchase and hope it lasts a while. One note...the space bar does echo the spring sound sometimes when you press it. lol!
