I bought this keyboard because with how much time I spend on my computer for work and fun I felt it was long overdue for me to get a keyboard I really enjoyed using. I found this on sale and could not be happier with it. Key caps and switches can both be changed and customized. Plus it also allows you to pick the LED color on each key using software you can download from their website. The best part about using the software to set each key LED color is that it uses HTML color codes which makes it super easy to get exactly the color you are looking for on each key. The keyboard came with defective key that didn't work even after replacing it twice. It was a waste of money. Also, the keys are not as mechanical-like as other options.

I'm 50 years old. When I was a kid and computers were just coming out for home use, this is the kind of keyboard we used. Then, over time they went away, probably because nobody liked the old clunky style and sound. But in this era of "old is new", here we are again. I'd forgotten how much I liked typing on these noisy things. There's something comforting about it, and it reminds me of the 80's. The lights are also great, except that (as other reviews have noted) there is a noticeable ringing sound coming from the keyboard when the lights are on. If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it would be 5 stars. I'll update this review if I ever have trouble otherwise. I also got the keyboard at a great price of $25, which certainly doesn't hurt. ... show more
