I had an old, very cheaply made shelf unit that sat at the end of my kitchen island. One side of the kitchen island faces "into" the kitchen so when I turn around, I'm standing at the counter between my stove and sink. On the opposite side of the island is a 6 foot kitchen rack that holds most of my kitchen appliances (I have several and not enough countertop for them to all be out - so they are stored on the wire rack shelves "behind" the island. One side of the island is next to the refrigerator so it is easy to pull items out for making stuff and put on the island counter. The last side is where the old, cheap shelf stood and was a place where I have three small hydroponic systems where I grow lettuces and herbs. This Baker's Rack expanded the space for me to store some of my pots and pans - I have used S hooks on the tall wire rack and hang my pots and pans there. Now I have the top half of this rack that is really made for hanging them! The top shelves hold a bunch of my packages of loose-leaf tea as well as strainers (I don't drink coffee but I have a bunch of different teas). The first two lower shelves are perfect for my hydroponic systems and I now have a spot to set up my little sprouts pan and light system - love putting sprouts on lots of things, but had run out of space for it! The lowest shelf is more storage for my kitchen appliances. I had stuffed a few in cabinets because they didn't fit in the kitchen (love my bread maker, my ice cream machine, my instapot, stand mixer, waffle maker...you get what I'm talking about, right!?!). This is a sturdy rack and while it took a minute for me to put together myself, it was definitely worth it. Love it!

This was not complicated to setup with a drill. All parts were present and labeled properly to make it easier to setup. Directions easy to follow. It fit just right in my kitchen and is pretty sturdy. It’s currently holding some appliances and my water/coffee station as well as my ice machine. It looks nice and can even have vinyl in it to match your kitchen if you wanted to. The plugs work well and come in handy especially when I need the extra space w ithout compromising on my counter top space. The hooks are a plus too and can hold my mugs or whatever you like on it. I would say it’s a great value for what you get and is great for those wanting to keep much of their counter space.

The Redlife Large Bakers Rack with Power Outlets is indeed large. It will provide you with a lot of shelf space if you have the room for it. I don't think they missed any opportunity to make this rack strong and solid. Every shelf is supported by a metal cross bar. These shelves won't sag. They say the capacity is 120 pounds but I think it can hold much more than that. It took me about an hour and a half to assemble the rack. It was helpful to have my own Philips screwdriver for a few screws although an Allen wrench with a screwdriver end is provided. Most of the assembly is with Allen head machine screws which the included wrench handles quite well.

The Large Bakers Rack with Power Outlets is a fantastic addition to my kitchen. The 5-tier design provides ample storage space for my microwave, coffee maker, and other kitchen essentials. The built-in power outlets are incredibly convenient for plugging in appliances. Its industrial style with rustic brown finish adds a charming touch to my kitchen decor. The dimensions (39.37 x 15.75 x 71.18 inches) fit perfectly in my space, making it both functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's a strong and study build. My only reason for the 3 star rating is because of the quality control, mine had what appears to be weld splatter (the liquid metal from welding) that had dripped into the threading where one of the screws goes so it would not go in without stripping the threads. The splatter was strongly welded into the threads. Luckily I have machine shop experience and was quickly able to diagnose the issue. At first I thought I was going to need to buy a tap set to properly repair it. Luckily I had a rotary tool with a very thin diamond polishing tip, and was able to grind down the weld splatter enough that I could force the screw into place tightly, If I didn't have the knowledge, skills and tools available I would have most likely had to leave it incomplete or go to a hardware store where they would recommend to buy a tap set to redo the threads. Normally part of quality control is to run a chaser through the threads to confirm they are machined properly and are smooth, which was clearly not done in this case. A few other screws were a little rough fitting into place but nothing serious. Regardless of this issue, it's actually a good quality piece of furniture so It was hard to decide on a proper rating for this item. So, should it be 1* as were my feelings during assembly when I discovered the issue, and due to the cost of my lost time and effort repairing the defective item? Or should I give it 5* which are my feelings of the end product after my repairs were completed? I think 3* is a fair rating in the end since it is a good quality product that is lacking in quality control to verify the product is free from manufacturing defects.
