Features

  • Effective to operate: The solar mole repellent emits 2-second sonic pulses in every 30 seconds to the ground, which is a great annoyance to moles in an area of 5,000 sq.ft and effectively keeps them away
  • Easy to power: The solar cell on the top part converts sunlight into energy and then store it in rechargeable batteries. Just place the solar powered device under direct sunlight to avoid negative impact on performance caused by the shadow of trees, buildings, or other obstacles
  • Strong against the weather: Designed to counterpart performance degradation caused by unfavorable weather conditions, it is waterproof and can be used anywhere outdoor. The best place to put it is where the moles frequent
  • Easy to install: Use a wooden or steel rod to make pilot hole. Insert the solar mole repeller into the ground until the cap is flush with ground. Press the ON/OFF button one time to turn it on and that's all
  • Safety notes: For preventing the chance of hitting the mole deterrent with a lawnmower, it is possible to insert a spike all the way into the ground. Please make sure the solar mole repeller is intact and undamaged before using.

  • I had my doubts
Item Package Quantity: 8
Growing up as part of the "as seen on TV" generation these just smacked of dubiousness. I read the reviews and had my doubts but had to try something. The furry little rototillers were churning up my yard to a point it looked like a World War One battlefield. I tried using a flavored deterrent and eliminated the primary food source with little effect. Poisons were out because of house pets. So on to plan B - These things and a murder machine! Started by fully charging these before placing them close to the house. I used a large screw driver to loosed the soil enough to stick these in the ground as far as I could but still get to the switch to turn them on. Marked each location with flagging so I would loose them or run over them with the mower. Every day I would move them out and away from the house in an ever expanding circle, like an invisible and annoying fence. So we began reclaiming territory from our hidden enemy! Funny thing, no new tunnels within the circle! Where I did see fresh tunnels outside the parameter, I set up the murder trap(s). Within an hour is impaled the 1st victim. More were to follow. So do they work? Subjectively, for me, they seem to. We'll see as the summer progresses. For now I begin the task of restoring my damaged lawn within the circle of doom and continue eliminating those critters I can with the springy spikes of death. ... show more

  • Does not eliminate mounds of dirt, but it does help.
Item Package Quantity: 4
Update 8/28/22: 3 Months later, these are no longer emitting the solar sound and (presumably) no longer working. The last week, I have noticed an increase of mounds of dirt throughout the yard, which tells me that these were actually working to keep the moles away. However, now the stakes both appear to be filled with water on the top - maybe the reason they’re not working. Despite them only helping for a few months, I decided to invest in a new pair to preserve my sanity. Prior to purchasing these, I was experiencing at least one mound of dirt in my yard every morning. I didn’t want to trap any nasty critters, so I bought these in hopes of helping them move to another yard. I had a little difficulty installing them (as you have to have a steel rod or something similar to install them flush with the ground) and unfortunately one of them broke upon install. The other 3 were installed successfully. They do make a low buzzing sound every 15 seconds. After install, I didn’t have any dirt mounds for a few days, and then one mound popped up. Then a few more days, and another one. This morning there was a huge dirt mound, within just a couple feet of the sensor. So, I can’t say if the sensors are working, or if the mole/gopher is getting tired. I’m going to keep them in the ground either way. ... show more

  • Groundhogs don’t care
Item Package Quantity: 8
This may work for moles, but our groundhogs don’t care. We had one digging a hole right next to the stake and didn’t even care that my dogs and I were standing there too. I was really hoping it’d work, but now it’s time for bigger measures. Giving 4 stars cuz it might work on other animals and the product wasn’t faulty, the animals in my yard just don’t seem to care. ... show more

  • Works perfectly
Item Package Quantity: 8
These are amazing. I am using on the perimeter of the yard cause I have beautiful sod laid in yard and the new neighbors have finally decided to get their yard in order and the company they use put all the stuff down to run the mole off. Of course they naturally coming may way. This has prevented them from using my yard as the mole play ground ... show more

  • Works with caveats....
Item Package Quantity: 4
Even though I have a small front and back yard I bought two 4 packs because 1) this place is totally infested with them and 2)I figured they might break or not work as well as they said. After 1 month or so, one of them did indeed break... sounds like it's got water inside. Anyway, you do you have to do some work to get these in the ground far enough, it's not easy peazy just stick it in the ground and walk away. They emit a pretty loud sound, I was hoping it would be more subtle. My neighbor hears it, and I don't know if it irritates them, but it is a pretty annoying 2 second beep about every 20 to 30 seconds. My cats don't seem to mind it or don't hear it. About a week after putting these down, started noticing increased vole/mole activity. This lasted for about 2 weeks. I started getting worried that wasn't working, but during this last week or so, the number of tunnels has decreased significantly. I think planting the spikes slowly got them irritated and they gradually vacated the premises. Seems like there's still a few of them, but overall I think it's done its job. Hopefully this continues into the Fall and winter. ... show more
