  • Very powerful, nice for muscle recovery
Color: Black
I’ve mostly heard about red light therapy in the context of skincare but there’s thought it could have benefits for your muscles such as increasing performance and helping with recovery. I was very excited to finally get a chance to try one of these. This is a beefy box. It’s solid and heavier than it looks out the little kickstand on the back does a great job of propping it up with some limited flexibility on angle. The controls are on the side of the panel and relatively straightforward, the timer especially comes in clutch. You can switch between R, NIR or both for the different light modes. The built in fan keeps it from getting too hot. I will say that this would not be my top choice for skin benefits. The light itself is great, this panel is fairly powerful, but the proximity needed for maximum benefit means keeping this within 6 inches of my face requires a bit more work than I’d prefer to deal with. If you were looking solely for face benefits, I’d probably suggest looking into the mask style lights for ease of use. Red light therapy takes a while to work so I can’t say conclusively if there’s been much benefit in terms of direct skin benefits. That said, it’s not impossible to use it on your face. I’ve been particularly enjoying this for my muscles however. There’s some discussion about whether it’s better to use before or after working out but I’ve enjoyed it afterwards. I’ve been using it consistently after lifting 3 times a week and I do feel like it’s helped noticeably for reducing soreness and speeding up recovery. It still takes a little bit of doing to stay close to the panel but the shape makes it easier to get the relevant muscle group in position. It’s not super wide but this size is a good compromise between still being reasonably portable and easy to store and some giant floor unit that’s going to be out pretty much permanently. The googles were a great inclusion. You can easily damage your eyes with this kind of light so proper ppe is essential. They’re blackout style so not my favorite but I appreciate the focus on safety. I did end up purchasing a different style of eye protection I found more comfortable but it’s a completely adequate set of goggles to get started with. They’re also pretty streamlined so they won’t block a lot of the eye area if you’re using it on your face. If I’m pulled up next to this like for 15-20 minutes, it better be working on those crows feet. Overall, I think this is a solid option within the panel style lights. It seems middle of the road in terms of pricing but gives you a good size, several modes, and some portability. It’s a nice entry point to see exactly what you like before jumping into the really expensive options. ... show more

  • Good option if red light works for you
Color: Black
I am all over the place on this device. The actual light works well. The red light is deep and consistent. If I use it for skin benefits on areas like your face, you might find yourself sitting really close though. I was more interested in muscle recovery, so it isn't terribly hard to position it for the right area. The size is good, although at times it feels too big to really be transportable and too small to be really functional. It is like a perfect medium, which is usually great but can be frustrating. I am just not convinced red light is doing anything for me. I don't notice much, if any, real benefit after months. But that could be me. The light works as it should, and if you know red light therapy works for you, then you should be happy. ... show more

  • Very effective as long as you stay 6 inches away from the lights.
Color: Black
I love red light therapy and I've got a few devices to include wands and panels, but I wanted to order this because of the additional features. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT 1. This red light therapy panel is very heavy compared to my other panels. 2. It's also pretty bulky and I think part of that is that it has a built-in fan and a heatsink. 3. I didn't get any accessories that would let me use this panel in different ways such as hanging it like a chandelier so that I can do use it while in bed. It's also too heavy to physically bring close to my face unlike my other ones that have handles on the sides.. 4. The only comfortable way to use this is on a desk because the stand is built in to the box. It's like a photo frame stand. 5. I like that this panel doesn't have adjustable levels. It makes it easier for me because I know that I need to be 6 inches away from the LED lights to optimize the therapy. I don't have to worry about different intensities and brightness. 6. I also like its 3 modes which are combined 660/850 nm, or just the 660 nm or the 850 nm. I tend to just leave it on the combined mode as it's the easiest when it comes to my face and neck area. 7. For my body though, especially when I have aches, I tend to use just the 850 which is invisible light. 8. I'm glad that this set came with blackout goggles. They're basically regular goggles but with no eye holes. Even with goggles on, I'm still able to see some red shadows when I'm 6 inches away from the LED lights. 9. There are also timers so it could auto stop. I'm able to tell when the panel turns off through the goggles. 10. I use this specific panel 3 times a week. For the other days, I use wands for green or blue lights. I sometimes follow this therapy panel with an active cooling face wand. 11. It says to be moisturized well for those with sensitive skin so it doesn't flake while using the panel. I have dry sensitive skin that flakes after about 10 minutes without a moisturizer, but I don't fully moisturize when using this because I don't want to create barriers that could block or reflect the lights instead of going through the skin. 12. I use this for 10 minutes at a time and I rotate my face slowly so that every part of my face gets the proper intensity instead of keeping my face static the whole time. 13. I try to follow a session with a hydrating and calming sheet mask. 14. The panel itself doesn't get hot. It's a little warm on the skin when close to the LED lights. 15. This panel feels very sturdy and it looks expensive. 16. I wish that it came with a storage box. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I definitely think that this is cost-effective and worth its value because it's heavy duty, dual-chipped, and I can use different modes. The only drawback is only being able to use it using the built-in stand, but that's not a deal breaker for me. ... show more

  • My cells are doing the Macarena, thanks to this light
Color: Black
This glowing rectangle of photonic wizardry arrived, looking less like a medical marvel and more like a minimalist disco floor for very tiny, very energetic microbes. It's got these twin-headed LED beasts, spitting out both that warm, comforting red light and the sneaky, invisible near-infrared stuff, like a bouncer at a club who lets in both the flashy celebrities and the quiet, highly effective assassins. The sheer brilliance of this thing is enough to make a sun god jealous, or at least a particularly ambitious firefly. It blasts out light with the intensity of a thousand tiny suns, all without making itself hotter than a dragon's armpit, thanks to its surprisingly silent cooling fan. Who knew such raw power could be so politely quiet? Now, about those instructions. Oh, the instructions. I'm violently allergic to reading them, like most men, so I just plugged it in and started pressing buttons with the scientific rigor of a toddler experimenting with a toaster. Lo and behold, it has modes! Red only, invisible-ninja-light only, or both, like a choose-your-own-adventure for your cellular well-being. And a timer! You can add or subtract five minutes, which is perfect for when you're deeply committed to self-improvement but also have the attention span of a squirrel on espresso. It even came with these tiny glasses, presumably to prevent my eyeballs from spontaneously combusting, and some strange foot pads that I'm pretty sure are for summoning ancient spirits, but I'm still working on that part of the ritual. My skin feels like it's been airbrushed by the gods, and my old creaky joints are less "ancient oak tree" and more "newly oiled hinge." It's like my cells are throwing a rave, and I'm just here for the glow-up. ... show more

  • Sad I felt no relief whatsoever.
Color: Black
I'm an amputee (right hand vs press machine), and over the years I've started experiencing more pain. Especially considering the amount of surgeries I've had in the last 20 years. I've tried all kinds of methods for relieving pain, down to treatments that I found odd like acupuncture. If anything ever worked, it would only do so for a short time and then I'm back at the start. I had heard about these red lights being used for pain and therapy, and I figured although it's unorthodox, it is worth a shot. To be perfectly honest I'm just not feeling anything different. I've used it several times and there's been no change. The lights to work and everything and I've played around changing power and all of that, but its just not doing me any good. I find that it is too bulky and heavy really, and I have to actually just sit in front of it on a specific table because the stand that is supposed to be adjustable doesn't work right. The light basically has to be stood upright on the table and I have to be right there with it or it'll tip over and fall. It takes up a good bit of space and it is heavy for me to carry as well. I just can't believe how expensive something like this is, especially when I have yet to see, feel or experience any kind of change or relief. I just find this to be another thing I've tried and still I'm in no better shape than I was previously. Maybe it's just me or my experience, and it'll be different for other people, but this is where I stand with it. The price is just outrageous for a heavy box of red lights. ... show more

  • Bright and effective therapy panel
Color: Black
This red light therapy panel is surprisingly powerful. The light output is much brighter than I expected, which makes it feel like a high-quality device rather than a toy. It is very convenient to have the option to switch between red light and near-infrared modes depending on what you need for your skin or muscle recovery. Since the light is so intense, I was really pleased with the included goggles. They do an excellent job of blocking out the glare. This allows me to just sit back, relax, and let the machine work without worrying about my eyes. The built-in cooling fan is also a helpful feature, ensuring the unit stays cool even if I use it for the full 30-minute timer setting. This is a great quality product. ... show more

  • Seems to have Very High Quality Red LED's...
Color: Black
Here's a Pro/Con List for this Red Light Therapy Panel: Pro's: (1.) It has 60 Outstandingly Bright RED LED's, that seem to be High Quality LED's (2.) It comes with Blackout Eye goggles to protect your Retinas from the Extremely Bright Red LED Lights. (3.) Priced Fairly for the seemingly High Quality Red LED's on this Display Panel. (4.) Surprisingly it only uses the Stated 84 watts shown in the Instruction Manual (See Pictures) Con's: (1.) The Shape of the Sheet metal cut out for the 3 Prong Power Plug was accidentally reversed at the Factory, so the Power Cord points Up instead of Down, like it's supposed to. (See Pictures) (2.) Speaking of sheet metal, the Adjustable Lean/Prop Bar's Metal edges weren't buffed at all at the Factory, and so the Metal edges of it are extremely Sharp, almost to the point of being able to cut your hand, so be careful. (3.) There seems to be a major oversight in the working design of this Red Therapy Light, when they designed this Red Therapy Light, you have to power on the 60 Blinding Red LED Lights, BEFORE you can even adjust the timer, which doesn't make sense, because you would want to adjust the timer first and then power on the lights, but instead you get Blinded by the extremely Bright Red LED Lights before you can even make an attempt to adjust the Timer for the therapy session, and so this seems to be a Major Design Flaw. So in conclusion, I think this Red Light Therapy Panel has some Really Good Quality Red LED lights, and they seem like they will work after you use them for the Recommended month or Two, but with all the other Quality Control issues that I mentioned above, this is only going to get a Total Rating of 3 out of 5 Stars from me, and it's mainly for the High Quality LED Lights Themselves. • Good red light panel for targeted muscle group use
Color: Black
The CCGIRU Red Light Therapy Panel (60 dual-chip LEDs, 660nm red + 850nm near-infrared) provides decent coverage for face and body use. The light is bright and even, flicker-free, and I noticed faster muscle recovery after consistent 10–20 minute sessions. The panel is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to position (stand or hang). Heat is mild and comfortable, and the build quality feels reliable for daily use. A few minor drawbacks: The coverage area is a bit limited for full-body sessions (better for targeted spots), and it takes a few weeks to see noticeable results (not instant). The stand is basic and can feel wobbly if not on a flat surface. Overall, a decent value for home red light therapy. Effective for recovery with some patience. Better for targeted use, but consider a larger panel if you want broader coverage. ... show more
