I like this lamp because it included glasses, but within the first week the bulbs broke off, tried to pull it back together but kept coming apart, there was nothing to hold the lamp to make it stay, so i ordered a replacement and i receive a compatible cable to Xone?!! the heck, I need this for my clients now i have to look for something else, no telling what they'll send me next if i ask for a second replacement, LIGHTS are good, just poor quality of product at least the lamp i received, and someone is working way too fast they didn't pay attention what they were sending.

The idea behind this product is to try to replicate medical research and therapy and offer it directly to the consumer instead of needing to go to some specialty doctor or laboratory. The seller, being a seller after all, has added hype and a bunch of dubious and wrong claims to what is legitimate science. What I'll try to do in this review is assess the product on its own merits and separate out the hype. FIRST, A WARNING: This product can discolor, mess up, and otherwise be harmful to people with skin conditions, people taking certain medications, and some other classes of people. Even if you're basically a healthy person, check with a dermatologist before using this. The seller does include detailed warnings in the product documentation that comes with the device. The build quality of the item is good. The tripod is stable and well-adjustable, the controls are easy to use, and the lights have a reasonable range of adjustment. The seller photos are misleading you if you think that you can easily, if at all, expose your entire body to the light at the same time. If you notice that some of the lights don't seem to work, that may be because they are the ones radiating in the 850nm spectrum, which is barely visible - you'll need an infrared gadget to know for sure. The science behind this therapy idea began decades ago with NASA experiments to improve the health of astronauts. Further research seems to indicate that when performed correctly, this therapy increases skin healing and possibly other healing. To this day (year 2023), no scientist knows for sure how or why this therapy works! You can read the theory on the internet, but know that they are just guesses and the scientists acknowledge that. The only medically verified results of this therapy (when performed properly) are for nudging along and speeding up the healing recovery process - any "promise" of it improving sleep, fatigue, mood, or athletic performance is hype. The seller could maybe justify the hype by claiming that 'speeding up the healing process' does improve those other things, but that's just some secondary possible side effect that would be true for anything that 'speeds the healing process'. The best news about this kind of product is that it doesn't require any pharmaceuticals or nutriceuticals, and that it's not easy to cause harm.

Update. The seller contacted me saying that they were going to send a new one. That was several weeks ago but nothing has arrived. I love the red lights but the stand itself broke the very first day. I tried to go about returning it but I had to have the box which I had already thrown away. I have tried to duct tape it and glue it but it is just a piece of junk. It is sad that so much money and quality was spent on the red lights them self but not the actual stand. And I do not want to spend half the cost of the red light and shipping it back because I would have to buy new boxing Update: They are now mailing me a new product without requiring me to send the old one back. Hopefully this one will not break.

UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offered to work with me to be sure I was satisfied with my purchase. They did NOT ask for anything sketchy like an improved review or ask for any information they're not supposed to. That's worth another star, both for the experience and in that I feel like it's easier to recommend that buyers consider a product when I can say from personal experience that a seller will stand behind their products. The unit I received works, but I'm not sure it does anything. Buyers should also be aware that there's a fairly long list of people who should NOT use red light therapy, but you don't see that part until (unless) you read the instructions thoroughly. It's also awkward to use, tipping over if you breathe on it wrong. I do like the timer feature. The jury is well out on the science, and folks should consult their doctors before incorporating any alternative or complementary therapy. For reference, my star scale: 5 - LOVE, highly recommend 4 - Like, solid product 3 - meh, it’s okay 2 - unhappy, don’t like it and don’t recommend 1 - angry, as in misrepresentation or other entirely unnecessary/preventable problem

Red light therapy has been around the past few years and is an innocuous treatment for an affordable price. The idea is that you shine the light on an effected area to stimulate healing processes naturally. I have the round lamp specifically for face, and have used a few times with little appreciable difference. I did rank this a 5 star as it is exactly as promised, comes well-packaged and is easy to set up. It does come with safety glasses which are recommended for use.
