This works very well, and seems well made. I have seen what appears to be this exact product sold by another company for over 5x the price. The only concern I have regarding engineering so far is that the plug gets quite warm during use. It comes in a generic box and does not have any industrial material smells out of the box. I use it on my legs and lower back both to reduce inflammation/pain and for overall blood vessel/joint health. This red light therapy belt has been helpful on my lower back and the heat feels nice in helping promote circulation first thing in the morning before starting my day. It definitely sets me up for less back pain after a long day of sewing, and for that I’m thankful. My only complaints are that the belt isn’t the most flexible, so putting on your neck is a little tough. I also find the belt only fits so many sizes; my husband finds it a little tight and we wish the belt had an extension. Otherwise, I’m happy with my experience when using it! ... show more

    • Cord heats up with battery, fine with AC adapter
I first tried this with the USB cord and a battery pack. I only used it for a few minutes, but when I unplugged it the end of the cord in the battery had gotten extremely hot. It also was draining the battery very fast. I am very hesitant about using this with a battery, it does not seem safe.. Plugged into the wall, however, this worked fine. It did help relieve my lower back pain- although I do not know how much of that was the light, and how much the heat. I’ve been using this on my hip and lower back, and so far, I love it. I will say that it can be tricky maneuvering it around curves, but I’ve found it’s easy to use before bed and lying down. The heat feels nice, just like a heating pad, and my physical therapist recommends red light therapy.
