I didn't order this for pain so I can't say how it works there. I wanted some 660nm light for my face. Of course, it would take a good while to see results so it's too early to tell. But I can say the light is intense. When I first turned it on pointed at the wall I was disappointed because it didn't seem bright. But I tried a little 2 minute session on my face as they recommend to begin at before moving up to longer times. And wow, even though my eyes were closed I had fuzzy vision for several minutes after. So it is definitely intense. I'll need to get some goggles maybe like I've seen for tanning beds to be safe. That will cover my eyelid area while leaving the area around my eyes exposed to the light therapy. I'm hoping this will help with creases or wrinkles starting around my eyes. Time will tell.

I had this exact light, didn’t care so much for the clip but made it work , I liked it so much that I thought I’ll just get a more expensive one so I did that I sold this one and now I wish I had it back this one just done a much better job than the masks or a bigger panel even I say yes, get some goggles if you’re worried about your eyes and it always looks like half the lights don’t work, but I think that’s the way it’s supposed to be anyway I’m going to purchase it again but this time I’m gonna keep it!
