Not exactly a stiff scraper. Some are almost like a thin chisel with a bevel grind and absolutely no flex. This one is more like a stiffer version of a flexible knife. Still a good tool. Do not buy any Red Devil with the red handle unless you plan to just live with not getting the label off. Not only does the label not come off with any ease, the glue holding it does not come off......period. Get the black handle Red Devil items. Easy to get label off and overall better quality.
