Tough to install. Very tight fitting. Looks great once installed but I have not had one last more than a few years. We live in central Florida but our cheaper covers on our Weber last 4-5 years before being replaced. I wish RecTeq made one just a bit looser so all the seams do not rip so quickly. UPDATE 4/15/2025 FINALLY!!! I just bought a replacement cover for my RT700 (this is my 3rd cover since 2019) and FINALLY Recteq has manufactured a cover worthy of everything else they make. This new cover has a zipper to facilitate getting the cover on and off and there are no more stress-stretches to get the cover on. Great job listening because that old cover was horrible. Forget about overpriced, and under-built Traeger. I've gone through 3 Traegers and will never go back. The recteq DualFire 1200 is awesome. Better built, gets hotter (over 700 degrees) and is great for smoking, and actual grilling. The DualFire blows away the Traeger when it's time for flame grilled steaks and burgers and I can do a low and slow meat on one side, while grilling something hot and fast on the other - at the same time. This cover is high quality and a great fit for my RT-590 Deck Boss. The cover heavy duty and sheds away the water during rain. I debated trying other, cheaper covers, but decided to give this a try. I expect this will last and provide great protection for my RecTeq.

    • It outlasts the storms!
It fits like it’s supposed too. My husband doesn’t have it tied down and it still stays in place which is a nice bonus. We had hail last week, and 20-30mph winds last night and no issues! Gotta love the spring storms in Texas! But the cover outlasts!

Ordered this Recteq Smoker cover for my husbands smoker. It’s ok, started pulling apart at one of the corners. But it was the only cover that would work. We keep it on our covered patio to further keep it from the elements.
