I purchased this for a friend’s pontoon... I’m a big gal and it was near impossible for me to get back on the boat after jumping into the lake... and the “ladder” on the old boat was a joke. Good overall ladder for the money. Reasonably sturdy, very easy installation, would be nice if it had some sort of floatation since you are installing over water. A second set of loops would be helpful, but I think I can find some at a hardware store.

This ladder has been a vast improvement over the previous ladder we had. This installed easily and is VERY sturdy. We like that the hooks wrap around the brackets fastened to the boat so the ladder doesn't easily come out of the hooks (unless you want it to). We love the handles on the top as we use this ladder at the side of the boat and there's not much to grab on to. Overall this was a great purchase and a quality product. ... show more

Wow! Installed on my pontoon boat in about 10 or 15 mins. Took me longer to find the tools lol drilled 4 holes installed the brackets with supplied bolts and it was done! I'm pushing the weight limit of this and it feels very sturdy even with me! The bottom step is low enough that I shouldn't have any problem getting up from the water. I was looking at other ladders but this came in under budget. Definitely worth it. I'll try to add pictures this summer ... show more

    • Sharp edge on corner where if folds cut my grandson.
The ladder is sturdy and works great, except for the sharp corners where the handle folds. I will file it and find away to cover the corner so others don't cut themselves.
