First I like that these are made of silicon which is usually very durable and holds ups well even when in hot environments, unlike a lot of plastics which quickly degrade and fail. They are soft and flexible making them much easier to install onto your wiring and terminals and most of all provide protection against accidental shorts. I also like that the design allows you to use these in a variety of situations utilizing different terminal and wire size and shape. In my case I used them on a 12V 35 AH scooter battery to provide short protection. Only time will prove their long term durability, but my initial feeling is these will last a long time in a variety of uses and environments. ... show more

Comparing other stud cover boots, these are silicone aggressive soft. An install interior to the bulkhead, or any other you might flock to damp rattles between bracket and panel surround rivet plastic. The conjoined effort to bracket locate strength and eliminate rattles especially interior, is materials reinforced flock and adhesive to the bracket, in the lam joint. Thats true of any legitimate performance added to stock, not just interior for cockpit attention envelope. To special the subject and make room in topic, these are silicone super-soft are perfect to apply, and very pretty. Taking the shears to other brands in M10.5/16 to compare, these are soft to aggressive performance and especially for lighted interior install. Just so pretty. 5 Stars! to Recoil. ... show more

These fit the black terminal well, but to fit on the red terminal, it has to be stretched a little. And it is not as easy as it sounds, but certainly do-able. I also tried putting it on the adjacent bolt but it was a little loose for that. So I put it on the bigger terminals and rotated the pointy end over the adjacent bolt for a LITTLE protection there. And the pointy end which looks like it is for housing a wire....it is not cut out. so you have to cut it yourself to fit it over the wire. It'll work but you'll have to tweak it a bit.... ... show more
