The good thing about these hearing aids is that they are helpful for hearing better. There is a static white noise sound I could do without. There are issues with these hearing aids though. Anytime you do anything like remove one or try to adjust it there is an awful high pitched beeping noise. It actually drove my dog crazy after a few seconds and she ran and hid under the table and was whining nonstop. Also, if you try to adjust it in or near your ear you get the same beeping. It's actually painful to adjust it to a higher volume near your ear which makes it hard to use. Once everything was just right it did help me hear better while multiple people were talking. The problem is I can't use this anywhere near my dog and the beeping starts driving me crazy too. I don't want to put them in around other people and subject them to the beeping also. It's rather embarrassing and will have the whole room looking your way. I don't think it's necessary, especially as high pitched, loud and incessant as it is. So, I have to take these upstairs away from people and pets to put them in. Since I mainly want to use these downstairs that's inconvenient. With a couple tweaks these could be great hearing aids. These hearing aids can get extremely loud! Your pet's light footsteps all of a sudden sound like mini-earthquakes, and your family member’s voice from the basement sounds right next to you! They were easy to insert and clean, as well as remove the heads as needed. There was an uncomfortable screechy sound coming from the device, though, whenever I attempted to put it in my ears or take them out. It was making noise inside the box when I received it. It came with some other items that I purchased and once I opened the shipping box I heard a noise which I didn't know where it's coming from. These hearing aids from FOAHINIO work very well for my situation. I have some hearing loss that is mainly evident when following conversations from a distance. They are reasonably comfortable, and the internal battery will last my typical day. I have the volume adjustment set to about 25%, which gives me just a little boost. There is a slight white noise hiss, but it is a low volume that disappears from your awareness after a short time. The units are advertised to have noise cancelling. I can’t test this directly, but I can say that they do a good job in noisy environments. I have tried a few other types of low-cost hearing aids, and I like these the best. The hearing aids come with a charging station that works similarly to an earbud charger. The charging station has an internal battery that can recharge the hearing aids’ battery a few times before needing to be plugged into a USB port. The hearing aids have no on/off switch. They turn on when removed from the charging base and turn off when returned to the charging base. The only adjustment is the volume. The units also come with some different sized ear domes, cleaning brushes, USB cable, instruction manual, and a small screwdriver to adjust the volume setting. I consider these hearing aids to be a good choice for a person without profound hearing loss, who wants to determine if they can get an over-the-counter solution at a cost that will not break the bank. ... show more

For my first hearing aid, it’s about what I expected and needed. The sound quality is nice and clean, it gets plenty loud for when things are too quiet or if your really struggling. It fits well and I never had issues with it falling out or being loose. My only concern is the beeping. It beeps when you change some settings and when you turn it on, but the beep is a bit too harsh to be right in my ear. They could have gone with a softer tone or something else all together. But I just make sure to adjust it before putting it on and I’m all good. ... show more

This works well for making sound louder, but not as well for more complicated problems that the hearing aids that cost 10x more attempt to solve. If speech sounds garbled, this may not be right for you, but if you just need the TV too loud for other people, you may want to try it. These hearing aids come with everything you need. The charging case, the USB cable, six different ear pieces, a cleaning brush, and a small screwdriver for the volume. What's nice about these is if you have to have one ear with more volume than the other you can do that because they're controlled by the screwdriver. One thing I would do when I get them is to put a small dot with a marker somewhere so that can't be seen so you will know which side is left and right. Please give them some time for you to get used to them, it takes up to 2 months sometimes. These are very nice in ear hearing aids and I highly recommend them. ... show more
