The media could not be loaded. We love smoked whiskey sours and smoked manhattans in our house and this cocktail smoker kit just made it worlds easier to pull off. In the past we’ve used wood planks and a kitchen torch, we have a large smoking gun (for food) and put it under a glass dome, and we have a cocktail smoke injector which is a little orb you put your cocktail into and then stick a smoking gun into using what reminds me of an inorganic chemistry lab apparatus. All of these methods are put to shame with this new addition to our bar. This is as easy as it looks. Use the tiny spoon (included) to place a scoop of wood chips (this set comes with SIX different kinds (apple, beech, cherry, oak, pear & pecan) in the burner pot, lock the cap on, place smoker “puck” looks like a large hockey puck or a tiny Bluetooth speaker, press the ON button and press again to ignite. The timer counts down, smoke begins to fill your glass, the lights flash and you feel like you’re staring into a 1970’s disco version of a snow globe. It’s fun and dramatic and doesn't involve hauling a whole chemistry set out of the closet. 22 seconds and you have an amazing, smoky delicious cocktail. A single scoop of wood chips could easily be used to make 2-4 cocktails, so the included wood dust will give you hundreds of smoke-ups before you need to go shopping for more wood. The kit includes a tiny wire brush to clean the smoke pot and a USB charge cord. The digital display tells you how much battery % you have remaining, and did I mention how well it smokes your drink? This is really a great little addition to impress your friends at a cocktail party or impress yourself with how easy it is to just make a great manhattan on the fly. The box also came with two large “ice ball” ice cube forms. Truly, a great gift for the mixologist in your life or just to keep around for that special cocktail whenever you want. Works great! Overall Impression: I've gotten these smokers before and absolutely love them. I now have a total of four for entertaining! This particular model offers some great features compared to others, like color light options that light up the smoke and an included ice cube ball maker. Flavor and Performance: This whiskey smoker, just like others I've used, provides a beautiful array of smoking chips that infuse flavor into the drink. It's more than just a fun show; it genuinely elevates both the drink and the overall experience. This one is no exception and works wonderfully. My Concerns: The ice cube maker was a bit confusing. As someone else pointed out, it came outside the whiskey machine box with no instructions. I have no idea how you would get smoke into the ice cube or if that's even a possibility. I think it may have just been used to enhance the product photo. My biggest concern, however, on this model is the power button. If it gets knocked or something is set on top of it, it could easily turn on and ignite the flame, which would be a serious fire hazard. Please be careful. Overall, it is a great value and it's such a wonderful addition to anyone's liquor cabinet.

Nice for the price! Easy instructions on how to use and very clear. Totally worth the money, it has all its needed to start using it as soon as it arrives. It brings all it shows on the picture and gives you an easy way to get your drink smoked without worrying about a torch or getting burned. The lights adds a nice touch to it and makes it feel fancy plus makes you have some fun with your friends while using it. Definitely recommend if you're a social drinker or usually hold drink parties or reunions with friends, it'd be something to talk about and have some little extra fun. The item is rechargeable and it brings its own cord which is not long enough but it does the job. Gets charged fast and never loses its use due to low battery.

The media could not be loaded. Ive never used a smoker before. I had looked into it but all I found used a torch and open fire. For some reason this was intimidating to me. I found this smoker and was intrigued. No torch, cloche or open flame. I was so pleased to see this set. It comes with several flavors. Its quick and easy to use. All you do is open it. Load it with the flavor of your choice. Turn it on and it goes. It has a built in timer so there is no guessing. It has a great smoke. While its smoking it has a repertoire of light colors it cycles through as well to make it fun to watch. The flavor comes through in the drink. I used whiskey and it definitely changed the flavor and enriched it depending on the flavor I used it was woody or slightly sweeter. Interesting. Depth. I also love that there are no cords, or torches. Its a I have enjoyed using this smoker. I love that it is quick, easy and fun.

So I got this whiskey smoker without knowing what the little plastic things are that come with it. I kind of expected the instructions to help me understand what they are, but alas, this instructions and the box make no mention of what these extra, separately included plastic pieces are. So I revisited to pictures from the Amazon listing. The pictures show a sort of cloudy ball next to the whiskey glass. Well, after looking again at the plastic pieces, I finally figured out that they are, in fact, molds for ice cube spheres! That's pretty cool, and a bonus. There are 2 molds, making ice cubes of about 2 inch diameter. Now on to the whiskey smoker. My friends were really impressed when we broke this out to use it at our last gathering. It was fun trying out how the different smoke types effected the whiskey. There are 6 different flavors, easy to use and easy to clean up.
