Please forgive the mess in the photo - I'm still getting things together. Took me a while to find these 'pneumatic' adjustable standing desks - mostly because I didn't know the correct term to use when looking for one 😅 I really wanted something manual/mechanical/non-electric since I already have enough machinery to plug in, and I didn't want a crank. After using ChatGPT to figure out that the mechanism I was looking for was a pneumatic one, I finally came across this desk and was lucky enough to do so during a sale. Got two for ~$630 total, including shipping and handling, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the faux-wood vinyl table top, but they're good quality and don't look cheap as some faux-wood vinyl finishes can. They appear to be tough, and scratch and moisture resistant (perfect for my boyfriend who never remembers to use a coaster on easily damaged finishes 🙃). On my most crowed desk, I have two large monitors, a laptop, docking station, keyboard, and mouse with an extra large mousepad. There's plenty of space for all of it, and I also have more than enough space for writing with my notepad and pen when I need to hand-jam information, as well as the all important cup of coffee and more. The mechanism for adjusting the height of the desk is easy to use. Initially I was worried after setting it up because it did not move smoothly at all, but probably just needed to settle after being put right side up for the first time. It's perfectly fine now, but as a caveat I would say don't expect it to have the bougie smoothness of a flexispot (which I also have - a small tabletop one that was issued to me by the Army that was too heavy to put on my old desk and couldn't accommodate all of my equipment. As you can see it's currently serving as my chihuahua's window-side pouf perch). As an added bonus, I thoroughly enjoyed the sticker of the man with anatomically incorrect arms showing you how to properly adjust the desk. Hopefully this desk is helping him work more comfortably too 😂 ... show more

    • Wobbles on carpet a little but otherwise amazing
I liked this desk so much I bought a second one. It's just incredibly convenient to have the pneumatic mechanism instead of having cables for an electric lift or a manual crank. And this thing is SOLID and spacious. I didn't think I needed such a big tabletop but now I don't think I could use something smaller. The ONLY bad thing about this desk is that it wobbles on carpet a little bit, and thus monitors wobble too especially if they're hooked to monitor arms. From what I've researched this happens with all standing desks with T shaped legs. The solutions are varied but what worked for me was taking my monitor off of the arm and get a heavy base for it. Also if you can push the desk against a wall when it's raised that also helps the wobble a lot. Lifting the desk may be hard at first but it gets easier once you do it a few times. ... show more

I purchased this deck to work from home and it is wonderful. It's sturdy and the pneumatic feature makes it so simple to adjust the height. For the cost this desk is simply unbeatable.

    • Large desk area
We wanted a large desk surface with height adjustment. The height adjustment feature is very easy to do. Assembly is more of a 2 person job when it comes to putting the desktop on. We can now have 2 monitors, keyboards and still have workspace. Definitely worth the money.

    • Not high enough even for average-height people
It's been reduced to a sitting desk for me because it doesn't go as high as I need it to be comfortable (and I'm only 5'11"). I couldn't find the range of heights on the product page, which is annoying as hell. Also, it the height adjusting mechanism is mechanic - you press a pedal strapped underneath the desk and have to either push the desk down or lift it up, which I wish was more clearly advertised. It is a decent sitting desk, but since it's marketed as a standing desk (and they charge for it as a standing desk), it's a big thumbs down from me. Either buy a nice sitting desk or shop for a different standing desk. ... show more
