I've never been so satisfied with a purchase. This is a quality product. you can tell that it is made with incredibly sturdy materials, and has a lot of weight to it. Definitely extremely heavy in the box so i would recommend some help from someone. alternatively you can move the pieces individually. Set up is a breeze. Very easy with minimal instructions. After many purchases, I've decided to write my first ever review on Amazon. This desk is a huge improvement over my previous desk. I was previously using the Zinus Jennifer desk (47" x 23") Which became very cramped after I placed my newly built PC onto it. I didn't have any room to put a second monitor. I also wanted enough room for the Glorious 3XL mousepad (48" x 24") so my old desk, while reliable, wasn't going to cut it. I'd still highly recommend the Zinus Jennifer desk if you're on a budget and you're ok with a single monitor setup or even a dual monitor setup with no PC on the desk. So I did some research and I found this desk on Office Depot's website. I then found it on Amazon for an even cheaper price. At $260 it's an absolute steal for a standing desk. On top of that, the depth of the desk is 30". To get a 55" by 30" desk from somewhere else like Autonomous it would cost anywhere between $300 and $500 depending on the length you choose. Which brings me to the length of this desk. Standard desk lengths you'll find on Amazon are 48", 55", and 72". The Realspace Magellan is 60" long and the perfect length to fit into my small room while also giving me enough space to move around and being able to hold my PC, 2 monitors (possibly a 3rd mounted vertically in the future) and other peripherals. This desk is very heavy weighing 150 pounds. I highly recommend having a second person to help put it together. You have to flip the desk over about 3 times during the assembly process, and trying to flip this behemoth over by yourself would be very tough. 150 pounds isn't too heavy but good luck getting a grip on it lol. Look no further. You've found the perfect desk... just buy it! ... show more

Great desk which relies on pneumatics to adjust the height rather than electricity, making it one less cord on a desk already likely to be loaded with computers, monitors, and other things that require cords. The directions are clear and easy to follow; it’s best to have two people assemble the product given its size and weight. The pneumatic component comes assembled and encased in a metal cover so it doesn’t require someone with an engineering degree to put together! The desk is well constructed and very sturdy. The height adjusts easily and remains in the desired position. The desk is perfect for adding a clamped mounting bracket on the back edge to hold two monitors. Wow this desk is exactly what I’ve been looking for. We used a drill and got it all assembled in less than half the time it estimated it the user manual and it works perfect for our environment! Bought 2 so far and we now have our other employees asking to replace their older desks for these. I almost considered just getting the computer stands that go on top of an existing desk to raise your screen above your desk level but I’m so glad I didn’t because I never thought about how many things you grab from your desk on a regular basis such as a cup of coffee or your keys or access to hard drives or a smart device, or a notepad or a pen from an organizer cup. If we had just bought that item instead of this entire desk then we would have to be bending over every few minutes to grabs those other items. I also recommend a heavy duty standing pad. Very spacious and big, stylish and expensive looking table. It can be raised instantly unlike electric ones that are expensive and need power. Secondly, it doesnt have drawer set which some people like since you can sit at any side of the desk and buy a drawer set that suits your needs. I find the desk pretty stable. It is a very good desk for people who like space and may often work from home or just have to have many things on the desk for whatever reasons. Just make sure the dimensions meet your intended area where you would be placing it. At first it will look huge but then you will find your self using all the available space lol. Also, easy to assemble by one person from scratch to completely assembled state. However, some people might find the components to be heavy or may find difficult to move the assembled table. However, if you are strong, you can assemble and move it all by ur self (practice safety obviously). ... show more

Evidently I'm sitting too much and feeling the pain that got a lot worse on a 3,000 mile road trip. So purchased the sit stand pneumatic desk. Works perfectly. No motor to worry about and raises up and down faster. Strength wise It is a bit of a challenge for my wife to raise up and down but doable, so something to keep in mind. She is thinking about an electric or hydraulic model for hobbies. Anyway very happy with this desk four weeks after purchasing. Assembly was simple, simple, taking a little less than an hour for the two of us not including unboxing and disposing of the box and styrofoam.     • Sturdy, easy to assemble, great value for the money.
Only got it yesterday and was easily assembly. It is well built and high quality. It is very heavy. the Table it replaced, with same surface area, weights total 30lb. This one is close to 100lb. For a large table, this might be necessary but I definitely would like it to be lighter. Giving an overall of 4 ONLY because its weight made it kind of hard to raise the table all the way to the highest. Even that might be because I have too much stuff on the table. ... show more
