    • Outstanding, Sturdy, and Sleek Desk That Can Fit Bulky Office Chairs Below It
Review Image by L
This desk deserves a positive review! I had been meaning to replace my old 15+ year old wooden desk and the opportunity arose after it didn't fit my new office chair under it. I have short arms so it wasn't comfortable to reach for the keyboard on the tray! After researching my options and going to physical stores to look at desks, these adjustable height desks were my best option. The only thing these lack is a keyboard tray but this is easily fixable with an adjustable keyboard tray you can install under the desk. I managed to build this desk by myself by placing the wooden top on the legs and aligning it to begin screwing it on. I then worked on the screws while under the desk. Definitely easier with two people if you can flip over the desk after as it says in the instructions. This is a high quality desk that is a bit heavy! I'm a small person and not very strong and still built it alone though. I specifically picked this desk because it's an established brand from Office Depot and it's not electric, as I had my doubts with the cheaper electric ones from "random" brands. I was wary of the motor on the electric ones. The versatility of adjusting the height means that basically any chair fits under it comfortably. You can see in the picture my chair is very big; the arm rests were the issue with my old desk but it does fit all the way under this desk and keyboard tray. I fiddled with the height after that photo so it fits well under. On top of gaming on my PC, I'm an artist that needs the keyboard under my tablet for an efficient workflow so I need my chair to fit in all the way under. Definitely way more comfortable than stretching my arms with my old desk. The keyboard tray I installed into this desk is by Eureka Ergonomics and I did need another person for that one, as it's cumbersome to install with the desk upright, though to be fair, you are supposed to do it with the desk flipped over. But flipping this big desk over in my small room was not feasible. Adjusting the height was a bit tough at first. Like I mentioned previously, I'm not very strong but it eventually went down to where I needed it by pushing on the top really hard while holding the lever. The space on this desk is perfect and definitely an upgrade from my older and smaller desk, which had my monitor almost falling off the back. My big full tower PC case fits under it, too. I love the color of the desk and fits with the darker theme of my room. The top is really beautiful. One minor complaint of the top is that it is a fingerprint magnet but cleans easily with a microfiber cloth. As I'm not adjusting the height constantly, I suspect it is likely to last forever with how sturdy it feels. Overall, this is a 10/5 desk for my needs! Beyond happy with the purchase; I think the price is way beyond reasonable for the quality compared to similar desks I found both online and in stores. Leaving this detailed review because I think they should keep making it forever, as I feel it's becoming harder to find quality products online. ... show more

    • Excellent and premium looking table

Very spacious and big, stylish and expensive looking table. It can be raised instantly unlike electric ones that are expensive and need power. Secondly, it doesnt have drawer set which some people like since you can sit at any side of the desk and buy a drawer set that suits your needs. I find the desk pretty stable. It is a very good desk for people who like space and may often work from home or just have to have many things on the desk for whatever reasons. Just make sure the dimensions meet your intended area where you would be placing it. At first it will look huge but then you will find your self using all the available space lol. Also, easy to assemble by one person from scratch to completely assembled state. However, some people might find the components to be heavy or may find difficult to move the assembled table. However, if you are strong, you can assemble and move it all by ur self (practice safety obviously). ... show more

    • Sturdy, easy to assemble, great value for the money.
Only got it yesterday and was easily assembly. It is well built and high quality. It is very heavy. the Table it replaced, with same surface area, weights total 30lb. This one is close to 100lb. For a large table, this might be necessary but I definitely would like it to be lighter. Giving an overall of 4 ONLY because its weight made it kind of hard to raise the table all the way to the highest. Even that might be because I have too much stuff on the table. ... show more

    • Sturdy and Spacious Desk!!

After many purchases, I've decided to write my first ever review on Amazon. This desk is a huge improvement over my previous desk. I was previously using the Zinus Jennifer desk (47" x 23") Which became very cramped after I placed my newly built PC onto it. I didn't have any room to put a second monitor. I also wanted enough room for the Glorious 3XL mousepad (48" x 24") so my old desk, while reliable, wasn't going to cut it. I'd still highly recommend the Zinus Jennifer desk if you're on a budget and you're ok with a single monitor setup or even a dual monitor setup with no PC on the desk. So I did some research and I found this desk on Office Depot's website. I then found it on Amazon for an even cheaper price. At $260 it's an absolute steal for a standing desk. On top of that, the depth of the desk is 30". To get a 55" by 30" desk from somewhere else like Autonomous it would cost anywhere between $300 and $500 depending on the length you choose. Which brings me to the length of this desk. Standard desk lengths you'll find on Amazon are 48", 55", and 72". The Realspace Magellan is 60" long and the perfect length to fit into my small room while also giving me enough space to move around and being able to hold my PC, 2 monitors (possibly a 3rd mounted vertically in the future) and other peripherals. This desk is very heavy weighing 150 pounds. I highly recommend having a second person to help put it together. You have to flip the desk over about 3 times during the assembly process, and trying to flip this behemoth over by yourself would be very tough. 150 pounds isn't too heavy but good luck getting a grip on it lol. Look no further. You've found the perfect desk... just buy it! ... show more

    • Beats adding a computer height adjuster stand anytime!
Wow this desk is exactly what I’ve been looking for. We used a drill and got it all assembled in less than half the time it estimated it the user manual and it works perfect for our environment! Bought 2 so far and we now have our other employees asking to replace their older desks for these. I almost considered just getting the computer stands that go on top of an existing desk to raise your screen above your desk level but I’m so glad I didn’t because I never thought about how many things you grab from your desk on a regular basis such as a cup of coffee or your keys or access to hard drives or a smart device, or a notepad or a pen from an organizer cup. If we had just bought that item instead of this entire desk then we would have to be bending over every few minutes to grabs those other items. I also recommend a heavy duty standing pad. Your feet will thank you for it. ... show more

    • Terrific Value, Terrific Quality
I've never been so satisfied with a purchase. This is a quality product. you can tell that it is made with incredibly sturdy materials, and has a lot of weight to it. Definitely extremely heavy in the box so i would recommend some help from someone. alternatively you can move the pieces individually. Set up is a breeze. Very easy with minimal instructions. It does take some weight to push it down without anything on it, but once the computers / monitors are on top, the counter weight helps substantially. Absolutely terrific value ... show more

    • Sturdy Pneumatic Desk
Great desk which relies on pneumatics to adjust the height rather than electricity, making it one less cord on a desk already likely to be loaded with computers, monitors, and other things that require cords. The directions are clear and easy to follow; it’s best to have two people assemble the product given its size and weight. The pneumatic component comes assembled and encased in a metal cover so it doesn’t require someone with an engineering degree to put together! The desk is well constructed and very sturdy. The height adjusts easily and remains in the desired position. The desk is perfect for adding a clamped mounting bracket on the back edge to hold two monitors. Very happy with his purchase. ... show more

    • Really great table.
Review Image by Amazon Customer
This is an awesome workspace table. I needed something in my art room that was height adjustable. This is great. I did not have a need for the electric ones because I likely will have it set at a specific height throughout a project. If I was readjusting several times a day the electric one could be more convenient. It is super sturdy and heavy. It is easy to assemble. And it is a big table 60 x 30. I'm glad I got it over the 55 x 24. ... show more
