Experienced painters may find some of it very helpful. That said, he is quite dogmatic about his process, and it's painfully evident English is not his first language. This is a great reference book, full of practical guidelines for painting in a classical technique. The author uses simple and direct language for the instructions. Photo references are excellent. I suggest checking his YouTube channel.
