We got this product to act as an putdoor, extra large door mat for our side garage door. We laid it down over concrete sidewalk and some 16"x16" pavers adjacent to the sidewalk. It had some tension andwanted to curl back up (it comes rolled not folded), but laid flat fairly easily (just had to step on it a few times). There was some outgassing/odor (rubbery smell) for the first day, but haven't really noticed it since. The area we installed it in gets hot/bright sun (full UV rays) for about 90 minutes in the morning, and gets shade the remaining hours of the day. It looks great. No shedding (so far). It's been rained on, and drained well. It may or may not hold up to continuous, full sun exposure. Not sure how it will do with a vacuum cleaner, we intend to clean primarily by using a leaf blower. ... show more

The product looked fine, but it didn’t meet our needs - it wasn’t quite what we expected from the description. We returned it using a method that did not charge return shipping costs. Today, I got an email that my refund would be reduced by a $19 “restocking fee” that was not disclosed at any point in this transaction. That’s poor business practice.
