I bought this and tried it out before I spent $ on a bunch. It was honestly pretty good. It’s not a 5 star meal but if it comes down to not having food, this is a great thing to have easy to make and tastes pretty good. 6/10 on a taste factor, 9/10 on easy to make factor, 10/10 on storage

    • They changed the size of the bucket!!!
I didn't take off any stars for this (I really wanted to but didn't), but the bucket size has changed from August 2022 to now (April 2023). I designed and built my shelves with a 12.5" high bucket (2022 bucket size), the new April 2023 bucket size is 14.75" tall so it won't fit under my shelf. Otherwise, the product is exactly the same, haven't actually tried it yet, hope I never do, but if I ever have to, Amazon probably won't exist for me to tell you if the food was any good or not. ... show more

We bought two of these at the reduced price. if you have researched prices of survival/emergency supples you'll see this is a good product at a good price. These buckets should not be bought to be the only source of emergency food. Like just about anything else, you need to diversify your stash: meals like these, freeze dried foods, MREs and so forth. Just like you shop at the grocery store where you don't buy one food for the coming week or whatever, variety is important. ... show more
