I first bought these some 10 years ago. Over the years, I’ve lost them, broken the case, lost nose pads and bent the temples. These are cheap enough to be abused without worry. Wearing BlueJeans, there’s not a lot of room to carry full sized glasses. These are carried in a pocket and take the bashing from my keys as well as bumping from carrying “stuff.” Yes, pulling the case out, unfolding, reading, then repeating the process can be a pain. After trying my first pair, I liked them so much that I ended up with 6 of them squirreled away in various vehicle glove compartments. The quality and optical clarity exceed my expectations considering their inexpensive price. My only comment (not a complaint) involves the case lid pivot pin which fell out after carrying them in my cargo pants pouch for two years. These are SUPER convenient. They are just a bit uncomfortable on my nose after a long period of reading (~4+hrs). This could probably be solved with slightly wider pads on the ends of the nose bridges. Still, the convenience factor, the glass lenses, and the small form factor are all fantastic. Love the case with hinged top. I carry them with me in a pocket or leave in car to use when shopping. Reading for long periods though I find that they irritate the bridge of my nose. Good price and value.

Wanted something I could keep in a pocket without concern for breaking. Works. Wish it had a belt loop. Glasses have two tubes that fold out and extend straight out like radio antennae with plastic ends. I would describe the lens as a partial ellipse, not the full size of regular glasses. I like to look old man ish and let them rest far down my nose so I can look down on a menu. Have used them to read when I am too lazy to find my normal cheaters. Case is a rugged feeling plastic zippo style flip top. Glasses fold and fit snug inside. Have not noticed scratches, but then again I do need reading glasses. Highly recommend. I’m new to readers. For the price, can’t go wrong. Had to adjust the nose pieces cause they were bent a little wonky. But other than that they are compact and for the price I can lose them or trie them out the door and I wouldn’t be worried.
