  • Not quite as bright the OEM bulbs
They do what they were intended to do but they are approximately 10-15% less bright as the OEM bulbs.

  • An excellent value
These bulbs lasted me about 5 years on my daily driver. The color temperature was slightly off between the two bulbs received, but not enough to warrant a return. The perceived amount of light produced was better than the stock bulbs, improving visibility at night. I would purchase these again, especially as the stock bulbs for my vehicle as about 5x the price and lasted just as long. ... show more

  • Working great
Ease of replacement. Saved me a lot of money. Kia said it couldn't be replaced by me.

  • Excellent inexpensive headlight replacement for my Audi S5
Initial impression is excellent. I've got one of these in my Audi S5. These are *incredibly* cheap, since Audi wants $170 apiece, and the Sylvania D3S replacement is $80, at least, depending on where you buy it. One of my OEM bulbs burned out a week ago, so I went hunting for a replacement, and lit on these. My Audi mechanic tried to shame me into buying the OEM bulb or close to it, on the grounds that "Hey, it's an S-class car, why be a cheapskate?", and he may yet have a point, but right now, I'm feeling like this was a huge win. The RCP bulb is just as bright, and while I sure wouldn't go cheap with performance parts for that car, like tires or suspension or engine parts, why not be a cheapskate for something as ordinary as headlights, especially headlights that go into so many non-fancy cars? They're just headlights. Concerns: (1) the RCP bulb is quite a bit bluer than the Audi OEM, so I probably should have gotten the 4300K instead of the 6000K. But it's no big deal at this price, because I can just swap out the working OEM bulb so they'll match. (2) Will the two RCP bulbs match? I'm wary that at this incredibly low price, maybe they won't. If "you get what you pay for", then they shouldn't be up to the same grade as the name-brand, should they? (3) Will the RCP bulbs last? For the moment, I'll put up with having two-tone lights. My mechanic will make fun of me, but I don't care. If the RCP bulb that's in there blows in a month, I'll chalk it up to experience, toss out the other one of the pair, and buy the Sylvania. But if it's still working and happy after that month, I'll replace the OEM bulb with the other RCP bulb so they'll (hopefully) match. Also, as shown in the photo, the box says RCP CREE LED lights. As near as I can tell, these are NOT LED bulbs, but standard Xenon HID bulbs like the description says. It also says so on the base of the bulb itself, and it seems to be that an LED bulb would be easy to spot. So something's weird at the RCP factory where they just use the same boxes for all bulbs, I think. Follow-up: 5 months later instead of 1, so hopefully folks weren't holding their breath waiting for me. The bulb I replaced in December is still running strong, so I replaced the OEM bulb with the other RCP yesterday; my car no longer has two-tone headlights. The colors match just fine. ... show more

  • Not bright
Easy to install, not as bright as OEM. Will have to purchase something else. These are too dim.

  • Worth looking at
Im going to let a lot slide here due to the cost of these bulbs. One of the OEM bulbs finally quit working after 7 years, so i ordered a pair of these as replacements. Wasnt sure what to expect for $28 that i paid, as the OEM bulbs are a couple hundred dollars. One of the bulbs was dead inside of 9 months, but is the same bulb that had died originally. I ordered a second pair and replaced the failed bulb. If it doesnt last a year this time i may try replacing the ballast on that side to see if that rectifies the problem. The color is also not as advertised on these bulbs, the color is somewhere in the green color range compared to the OEM bulbs and other LED headlamp bulbs that i have installed on several other vehicles. It isnt distracting nor is it noticeable to oncoming traffic so it cant be shifted too much. Like i said, for the cost, i will put up with these minor oddities. *EDIT* It has been a year since replacing the failed bulb and the replacement is still working, so the first must have been an anomaly. The other bulb is going on two years now without issue. ... show more

  • Perfect Upgrade For My Q7
I bought these to replace the burnt out low beam for my 2013 Audio Q7. I had always wondered why the colors of the lights of my car were mixed, some were typical yellow while others where crystal white like the running lights. I hadn't really thought I could adjust the color temperature of the lights until now. I ordered this set of lights which I beleive were in the 6000 color range. They came promptly the next day (thank you Amazon!!), and I got to work installing them. For the 2013 Audi Q7, you have to take out the entire headlight assembly and that took some time to figure out. If you dig around you can find some YouTube videos on it. But in the end, you need to disconnect the power lead and pull up on the locking mechanism next to it. Then there is a locking tab on the top of housing that you need to hold back. Then with a little shimmy back and forth the housing will come out. Then it is just a matter of removing the cover and taking out the old bulb. Then repeat the process backwards and you are done. The first side took me 15 minutes because I had to figure this all out, and the second side took just a few since I had the process down. One thing, the box even came with a pair of white gloves to use while replacing the bulbs since you don't want to touch your fingers on the bulbs. Just be sure to use the gloves after you have pulled out the housing and are ready for the bulb swap. This will ensure the gloves are kept nice and clean. Afterwards, I couldn't wait until night to try these out. When I did, I was immediately impressed with the brightness and whiteness of the lights. I can actually see more of the road. Now I am going through the car replacing other halogens with LEDs to give my car a makeover. My car has 58K miles on it, so hopefully these lights last just as long as the last set. ... show more

  • Good Product -
Sorry I haven't used them yet...I bought these as a spare for when the other light goes out. Product appears fine, but wasn't happy with the way the Amazon driver just dropped the package on the walkway, over the gate and didn't walk in an place it on the porch, like he should.
