I just purchase a TV to replace my existing TV. After I swapped out, I realized there is no output from TV for audio. I have to hook up my wireless headset. I used this cable to solve my problem and works great. The MALE+FEMALE end would just going to your set-up box, the headset input will just tap off the FEMALE end. This setup works even better than TV's audio output. Here is why. If you were using audio outputs, in order to stop sound comes out of TV's speaker, you would need to go inside menu and turn off the speaker(depends on TV). Lowering the volume or muted would kill all volume. Using this cable, you can simply muted the tv and your headset will still getting audio directly from the box.

I actually bought this so I could use my FM modulator for an auxiliary jack as well as for my DVD player in my Ford Expedition. I actually stopped at Radio Shack to ask if they had anything like this and they stated it is not possible, and that if I buy it then it won't work. Well I guess they were wrong. If I want to use my Ipod to listen to music it works, or if my kids want to watch a movie on the DVD player it works. Of course I have to put this just in case anyone tries, but you cannot listen to both at the same time. Very happy with this product.

I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure if it's the cable's issue or something else, but I bought new bookshelf speakers that were non-bluetooth and I both a Logitech bluetooth connector and hooked up my Alexa to the speakers via this cable hooked into the bluetooth adapter and speakers, and it works perfect, when the computer is off. Unfortunately when the computer is on, the computer's sound takes priority and you can barely hear the crackle of the Alexa.

I had these great but old speakers that I didn't know what to do with. Well, my new flat TV has an RCA audio output which I connected to a RCA audio amplifier (RCA to wire) that I also purchased from Amazon. This cable came handy to make the connection from the TV to the RCA audio amplifier and still have an extra outlet for my wireless headset. Bingo! Speakers are alive, saved big bucks by skipping the home theatre system and reusing old speakers. This cable played a humble but important role as part of the project. No complains, sounds is perfect so the cable has to be perfect. The length won't affect the quality of the audio.

This cable was perfect for what I needed it for at the time. This included splitting a split track choir cd from a standard DVD player to a mixer so I could have music on one channel and lyrics and music on another channel. Coupled with another audio cable, this got the job done in a pinch. The cable itself seems to be made of about average quality, which I thought was about right for the price. No complaints from me but if you are expecting a stiff cord that will stand up to years of daily repositioning and handling, this may not hold up. I would buy another one if I found a need.

I was originally looking to buy a couple audio splitters, but came across these piggyback cables. This cable seems to work just fine, I don't notice any loss of volume or signal. But I'm also not very picky when it comes to audio. I feel like using this cable simplifies the wiring because you can split the signal without an extra cable getting in the way between the device and the splitter(s).
