It’s a great radio control car, able to drive through grass just fine as long as the incline isn’t too steep. My kids love it! The battery life is decent, generally 30-40 minutes in spite of my kids pushing it pretty hard… I would recommend getting another battery, as it does take a long time to charge… Plus, the seller Double E does a great job supporting their products; a few days after we got it, my daughter drove the it under my car and when I started backing out it got squished a bit, which broke the plastic ends of the rear axle so the back wheels came off… Reached out to them, and they got us back up and running free of charge!     • Decent RC truck for kids but not "high speed"

I took a lot of time researching various RC trucks for my 6-yr-old son's Christmas gift and ended up choosing this one. Considered many higher-priced / hobby options. Wanted something relatively durable and of a decent size to deliver on the "truck" ask. And, as most kids would find attractive, something that was relatively fast. I was not expecting too much - it is only a $50 product after all. If you want high performance, truly high speed, you'll likely need to spend $100+. They will also likely be smaller in size however. At 1/12 scale, this one satisfied my son's need for something "big". This one has been taken out a number of times and is still in good shape. It has performed well on gravel, grass, tarmac, woodchips - it really does go cross-terrain when many standard RC cars do not. It also goes up and down a curb, over speed bumps and other obstacles, so it's pretty fun in that way. It's not very fast. The "high speed" claim in the description is a bit of a stretch. I've had $15-20 cars from Walmart go faster, so speed is not a high selling point here. But all in all, it's decent for the money and my son is happy with it. ... show more

I bought this remote control truck for my daughter but found that when she's not playing with it, I play with it. We have a space between my neighbor's house and mine that has quite a bit of gravel and this truck goes over that gravel as if it was just cement. The remote for this truck is really easy to use but I found that even I was able to use it and this was my first time using a remote control truck. I have used this on grass, gravel, sand and even jumping off of the curb onto the street and it still keeps going. I have accidentally made this tip over several times but even with tipping over, the truck itself has nothing really wrong with it. On a single charge, one battery pack will last for about 30 minutes but this depends on how fast and how much you use it. Meaning if I use this straight and don't stop, I'll get about 20 minutes. However, with breaks in between of playing with it, more like 30 minutes. To charge, it does take a couple of hours. The cool thing about this product is the fact that it can do flips it can ride over leaves it can go in the grass it can fall off some bricks. It is pretty versatile although when you drive it in the grass it goes even slower than it does on concrete and it's so slow on concrete my daughter can walk it almost keep up We find ourselves running out of things to do with this truck considering you can't chase people with it it can't maneuver well and it can't ride on the grass for long because of the battery . Speaking of which the most complicated and difficult way to charge a battery I've ever had in my life for a remote control car and it's the only reason I would never buy anything like this again. It's not a bad product and if you're willing to put in the effort to constantly plug it in like that then I guess that's okay but if you're not then you're like me and don't want to put that effort into a remote control car today ... show more

Decent RC car. My 9 and 12 yo girls love them. 1. Says comes with two batteries. It does not. Only comes with one. You have to do a whole song and dance with CS to get the extra battery. 2. I ordered 2 cars in one order. This is a mistake. It is basically one free extra battery per ORDER not per car. If you want a battery for each car do 2 cars in separate orders. 3. The bodies are pretty flimsy. One part holding the body on snapped after running into something the second day. Right now a rubber band is working to hold it on 4. Design better attachments between batter/car and battery/charging cord. It is a small non kid-intuitive connection which little fingers will force and break eventually. So I am constantly haveing to hook and rehook batteries to the charger/car. 5. For the love of god design the battery door to not go on/off without a hard to replace tiny screw that kids will lose fairly quickly. 6. You will need a extra battery(s). it lasts about 15 minutes. 2-3 hours to charge. 7. Good - For 2 cars the controllers DO NOT interfere with each other. This was a pleasant surprise! Beside all this they are still fun and they love them. Just some boneheaded design choices. ... show more
