This RC car had no problem going through my artificial grass. My old one had a lot of trouble getting through and I think it’s because this one is 4wd. It can go uphill without issue and has survived a few big jumps. The car is pretty responsive to the control and can dodge through obstacles pretty easily. The big wheels can climb over the smaller obstacles too. Just angle it on your approach so that the side wheel makes contact first, then power through once the front is up. This is a very powerful little remote control car. My son loves playing with this. I got this one and another one and we race. If you like RC cars this is a nice little car to race around the house or outside. I even took it to the beach and it did fine. Just keep it away from the water :)

    • The wheel broke off after 3 minutes.
Well, that didn't last long. The plastic wheel shank that connects the wheel to the axle broke after 3 minutes of outdoor use. No I didn't jump it off a ramp, no I didn't run into anything, no I didn't send it down a ravine. It broke going down a dirt driveway. The just split and broke. I'd say if it couldn't make it through 4 minutes of driveway, it isn't durable at all. ... show more
