I was looking for a small RC boat for my 4 year old to play with in our pool. Our pool is only 15k gallons so I needed one that was not too fast and not too large but strong enough to move along through the water filter jet currents. I've ordered about 5 different ones from Amazons and they all had the same issue. They were all great but they were TOO fast and Too big. They would zip along from one end of my pool to the other in about 2 seconds. This was not fun for my son. I finally decided to order this one and it was perfect. It was the perfect speed for the pool. Not too fast that it zips along without being able to control, but strong enough that it can cut through our pool jets. My son has a blast every time we take it to the pool and surprisingly the battery lasts way longer then advertised. If you are looking for an RC Boat for the pool, this one is the one to get!

These boats are a lot of fun. My grandsons play with them in the pool. They zip around, jump over the pool vacuum hose and push floats and pool balls around easily. I'm not sure how they would perform in a lake and they are certainly not for the ocean but since we bought them for pool time fun we were not disappointed. The only negative is that one of the tops leaks a bit of water and that can not be good for the batteries. We dry them thoroughly when we are done.

These little boats are fun and a they really do go fast. Battery life was short, but, for the price, its ok. We got a good 15 minutes out of them and that was enough for us.

My grandsons are in their 20s, and it is difficult to find a "toy" for them for Easter. These were perfect! They each have swimming pools and couldn't wait to race them at home. In the meantime, they raced them in a small wading pool at Grandpa's and commented on how long the battery lasted right out of the box. Probably lasted 20 minutes on constant full throttle. Made for a fun Easter for them while their own little ones were playing with their Easter toys! Lots of laughs!

Batteries last for about 20 min. The remotes work well. Distance is not too big. I wouldn't use it in an actual lake unless you have a real boat to fish these out. They do warn you when they start getting too far. But you have to react fast. We used them when our ice rink melted. Had a lot of fun. Will use again next year.
