This is my second purchase. The first unit is for our grandchild. Her smiles was all I needed to confirm it was money well spent. She knows it is here at our home for her visits. We recently had one of her cousins visit who lives a distance from us. Well, her smiles were just as bright when she rode the scooter for her 2 day visit. Seeing her happiness we bought a unit and had it shipped to her home. Her screams of joy when she got home to see the same scooter was waiting for her once again placed smiles in our hearts. And while it is fun, the speed limit of 10 MPH is just right. They can “fly” down the sidewalk or streets in the neighborhood while still well within the range of safe use. Great Electric Scooter that’ll Bring Loads of Fun for Your Children!!!

What a great electric scooter. I originally purchased one, but then I bought two along with two great helmets. Let’s just say that my nieces love them! They’re safe and easy to operate. That is, once you get used to the throttle, your kids will have a ball. The only thing about the device that might present some difficulty is just to make sure that the power switch is off while charging the battery. Otherwise, you’re going to be charging it for a very long time, and your kids might get a little upset because you need at least 12 hours of charging before they can use it. So my advice is to hide it somewhere and charge it before presenting it to your children. Overall, it’s a lot of fun. ... show more

Very pleased Daughter.

My nearly 7 year old daughter loves this scooter. It was her Christmas present. She is the envy of the neighborhood. I wish I could ride it too, but I do not wnat to exceed the recommended weight limit and break her new ride. The scooter zips at @ 10 mph. We have not yet run down the battery while riding, so I am not sure of how long it lasts. We have used ours in excess of 45+ minutes. I am sure once the temps are a little warmer, we might have them out longer. They are a breeze to transport to the park etc. Your son/daughter will love one too! I highly recommend a helmet, elbow & knee pads with this item, as they have come in handy in the first couple of weeks of owning this scooter. We only allow them to ride while adult supervised as they are pretty fast. Model note--Her twin brothers got the E175 scooters for Christmas also. They are basically the same scooter, with the only difference being that they are red. Other than that they have the same specs as this scooter. Would not order online - buy it at a retail store

I purchased this scooter as a gift for my 9 yr old daughter. When the package arrived, the shipping box was completely mangled and destroyed (and not by FedEx - it had been shipped that way by the company!). The box was held together by several overlapping layers of packing tape. There were giant chunks of cardboard missing out of the box, and one whole end of the box was completely missing. Had it not been for my own child, there is no way I would have given this item in this condition as a gift to anyone else. There was also a scratch along the side of the scooter, congruent with some of the damage to the box. All of the parts appeared to be in the box however, and there was not enough time for me to send the scooter back and get another one before her birthday, so we did keep it. I am giving this item 4 stars because my daughter absolutely LOVES the scooter, and the scratch did not affect its performance. However, I would strongly recommend actually going to a store and purchasing this item, instead of ordering it online. The box is big and heavy, and it would be very inconvenient to package it up and ship it all back if yours arrives the way mine did! ... show more

Scooter max speed doesn’t last long

The scooter is super cute and our daughter loved it at first, BUT it does not work as advertised. Something must be wrong with the battery as it will not go full speed after maybe 1 mile or even less. We charged it after every use for +12 hours but the scooter starts to slow down significantly after a few rounds around the block. I am convinced this is not user error as we have followed the instructions thoroughly. I doubt one charge would even last 10 miles as described, we never tested it for that long cuz my daughter would get bored once it starts moving no faster than 5 miles an hour. Additionally, the closed kick stand sticks out a bit to for and has scratched the inside of my daughter’s ankle when kick starting the scooter. The back tire is made out of hard plastic which makes the ride very bumpy and loud (definitely not a smooth ride), and since the tire is so small it makes it difficult to get over even the smallest edge or onto a side walk, I have to always help her lift it up. We are returning the scooter and purchasing a different model. ... show more

Great item but 2nd item with bad delivery

I bought this for my nine year old niece for Christmas. She loves it but she really has not been able to use it outside because it is been soo cold but she did ride it round the basement. Not recommended because it can go kind of fast. There was another review about if it is a gift to be careful because the picture on the box will give it away to the kids. That is absolutely true my niece saw the box but I lied and told her it was the neighbors and since they were not home they put it on our porch. This is the second item I bought where the condition of the box had me wondering whether the product would work. The box was torn and damaged and in the manner in how it was put on the porch left me to wonder where they just threw it onto the porch. So far it works good!! ... show more
