  • False Advertising
Size: Keyboard
The razer website lists "Key Feel: Tactile and Silent" These keys are anything but silent. This keyboard is VERY LOUD. I would compare the volume of typing on this keyboard to shaking glass marbles around inside an empty metal coffee can. The layout, look and feel are overall as expected. Other features are ok, but i am rating this one star for flat out misleading and false advertising. Some components of the Synapse software require a log in. part of it lets me use it as a guest, other parts do not. there is no need for a log in, nor to require one. ... show more

  • Razer Keyboard Quality/Customer service
Size: Keyboard
Last week a purchased a razer pro type keyboard. It worked ok but it's by no means the best mechanical keyboard I've used. I fully charged the keyboard and used it lightly for 3 days. The battery was low so I placed the keyboard on the sofa in my office to recharge it out of the way. I knocked the keyboard of the sofa. It fell about 18 inches or less that half a meter. The net result is one of the feet broke off. I called razer and discussed wanting to purchase a replacement part. I was informed that there are no repair or orderable parts for Razer Peripherals. Last Razer product my company will buy!!! Never trust a company that does not stand behind their products. ... show more

  • Perfect switches if you like Browns or reds. really well built but battery not so great.
Size: Keyboard
I have been using an inexpensive wire mechanical keyboard with blue switfhes for a couple years now but i just got tired of the cable. I work from home and having a wired keytboard and a second keybaord for my chromebox is anoying. This keyboiard really did solve almost all of my issues. The switches are little softer than blues but as you can see here i am not leaving any typos lol. I do edit before i submit but still my typing erros are fsignificantly lower with these orange switches over the blue switches i was using before. My typing is faster and the kets are less flimsy feeling. That aspect speaks to the $139 price tag. It has been in the back of my mind that i needed a higer quality keyboard fro some time bit i finally made the decisiojn and I am pretty sure this is the keybard i will keep long term. I know razer makes gaming hardware and when it cocmes to keyboards that does make a difference. The switches are softger than blues but more resistant than reds. If you want to game you will probabnaly want red switches since this will reqwuaire more force to actuate. I game with my xbox controller mostly so this is not a mahor concern for me. If i have one grievance it is the battery life. I notice if you leave the back light on even low it will drain the battery much faster than if the back light is fully off. With the back light on the keyboiard gets about a 10 hour charge on medium brightness and a 15 hour charge on low. If fi leave t4he light turned off the batery holds a chrge that makes it will into a late night. I plug it in each night before bed so ive noticed on nights when i stay up untill 2 am, this keyboard will keep a charge that long if i keep the back light off durring hte day. ... show more

  • Customer Service is Non-Existent, Buy at Your Own Risk
Size: Keyboard
I had two keycaps (the M and N keys) fail within 6 months of using the keyboard with a break in the exact same spot, pointing to a manufacturing defect or more likely an assembly defect (see photo). When I reached out to customer service and asked for two replacement keycaps I was informed they don't stock replacement keys and that the two year limited warranty would not cover the two keys. This is unacceptable for for a $140 keyboard, please be aware if you have a component fail you may not be able to have it fixed under warranty. You can find many other stories similar to this if you search. A better alternative to this product may be the EVGA keyboards or the well reviewed GMMKs which use brown switches similar in sound to this keyboard, both also have a great reputation for customer service. The keyboard itself is as described and I would rate as a 4 out of 5. I thought it looked great and has a nice weight. The orange switches are quiet for a mechanical switch, but co-workers could still clearly hear my keys during Zoom calls. In an office environment I think the keys are quiet enough to not disturb your neighbors. I was surprised at how quickly the keyboard sleeps even when plugged in, it's slightly annoying waiting the 5 or so seconds a dozen times a day for the keyboard to wake up and reconnect to bluetooth. This can probably be changed using the software, but I was using this on a work laptop that limits 3rd party programs. The wireless dongle reconnects much faster, probably under 2 seconds. I have some concerns about the longevity of the bluetooth/wireless switch, so if you plan to use this feature a lot be warned given Razer's poor customer service. Overall: Decent keyboard, probably a little expensive given competitors such as GMMK which looks very similar and is 25% cheaper with replaceable parts. Customer support leaves much to be desired. ... show more

  • Love it!!!!
Size: Keyboard
I love my new keyboard. I have several other Razer products and everything is great. The design, the manufacturing is well made and you can see the care put into the details for quality of life usage. I promote every chance I get to buying a Razer product for gaming needs and professional. This is my new work computer and my hands are already so grateful for the ergonomic design and ease of typing this provides. Everything is smooth and just overall a wonderful keyboard. ... show more

  • Meh
Size: Keyboard
I love the look of the keyboard and backlighting…keys have a gratifying feedback and there’s a nice build quality to it. Biggest downside, the keyboard shuts off(even when plugged in) due to inactivity to conserve battery life. The lag in time it takes to get the keyboard back up is a bit on the long side which gets kind of annoying. Update: I kinda hate this keyboard. Update 2.0: Went back to old keyboard. ... show more
