Got this because I was using a craftsman 10" orbital buffer that was just too big to get to smaller areas of my pick up truck. Not being a professional detailer I can't give expert opinion, seems like it did a good job to restore and correct the paint on my truck. This item, along with the cut compound I used made removing scratches easy. The variable speed and the on lock position allowed me to work and not damage my clear coat.

The media could not be loaded. So far so good. The quality is a lot better than I expected. I haven’t used it yet but looking forward to it! Pretty cool that it comes with a few items also.

The tool itself is very nice. It has two handle options for flexibility. It has an indicator to show when it is plugged in. The on/off switch was a little stiff at first but got easier with a couple uses. There is a small chart on the handle showing the rpm’s for each setting. I hope the chart never wears off the handle because it is nowhere in the instructions. As a matter of fact, the instructions provided are not very substantial. For a tool marketed to beginners, the lack of any real instructions or guidance is not acceptable. It came with quite a few accessories which are all good enough to get started but not great quality. My initial test was to compound my headlights to remove oxidation. It did a good job. There was some vibration but nothing objectionable and it was easy to control. The soft start is really nice. I have tools that start immediately at full speed when you turn them on and this is so much nicer. I attached a picture with one headlight done and the other not for comparison. I am giving it 4 stars because the tool is good. I deducted 1 star for the lack of instructions and questionable quality of the accessories. ... show more
