These are now my go-to sunglasses, although when I first received these I admit, I thought they looked cheaply made. I'm not sure if it was the matte frame, how lightweight they are, or the thin arms, but I was less than impressed when I first took them out of the box. BUT, after sitting on these twice and having them survive at the bottom of my purse (with my keys) for the past two months, I can definitely say that these are true RayBan material. The Erika's have become my everyday sunglasses mostly because of the amazing fit. I also have the RB3044 (small Aviators) and RB2132 (52mm Wayfarers) and the Erika's are by far the best fitting pair of Ray Bans I own. Because it's listed as a 54mm, I was nervous it would be too wide for my petite oval-shaped face, but surprisingly the frames do not extend past my face frame. Arms fit snugly at my temples (so unlike the 52mm Wayfarers, they don't slip off when I look down), and are long enough that I can comfortable sit them on top of my head (unlike the short-armed small Aviators). The subtle cat eye look and gradient is trendy but not over the top. ... show more

I’ve been using the Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika Round Sunglasses for a while now, and they’ve become my absolute favorite pair of sunglasses. Right off the bat, they are incredibly stylish. The round shape gives them a classic yet trendy look, and they manage to elevate just about any outfit, whether I’m heading out for a casual day or dressing up for an occasion. These sunglasses have a timeless vibe while still feeling modern, which is something I really appreciate in eyewear. One of the things I love most about the Erika sunglasses is how well they sit on my face. I’ve struggled in the past with sunglasses being either too tight and causing headaches or too loose and constantly slipping down my nose. These, however, are perfectly balanced. They fit snugly without being uncomfortable, and they don’t leave those annoying pressure marks on my temples or behind my ears after wearing them for extended periods. It feels like they were designed specifically for me! In terms of coverage, these sunglasses do a great job of protecting my eyes. The oversized round shape covers my entire eye area well, providing excellent protection from the sun without being bulky or overwhelming. They’re perfect for outdoor activities, and I’ve noticed that even on the brightest days, I’m not squinting or feeling the need to adjust them constantly. The lenses provide excellent UV protection, which is important to me because I spend a lot of time outside, especially while driving. Speaking of driving, these sunglasses are a game changer when it comes to driving, especially toward the sun. I often find myself driving during sunrise or sunset, and these sunglasses really help cut down on the glare without distorting my view. The lenses are dark enough to provide relief from harsh sunlight but not so dark that it’s hard to see clearly, which can sometimes be an issue with other sunglasses. They strike the perfect balance, making driving more comfortable and safer. Overall, the Ray-Ban RB4171 Erika Round Sunglasses are an amazing combination of style, comfort, and functionality. They look great, fit well, and offer excellent protection from the sun. Whether I’m driving, out for a walk, or just enjoying a sunny day, these sunglasses are always with me.
