I had a pair of these years ago but the Atlantic Ocean took them. I’ve always loved the style and these don’t have that over-sized “bug eyes” look of cheaper knockoffs. Admittedly, the wrap around ear hooks take some getting used to, but soon you won’t even notice

I somehow lost my last pair of Bausch + Lomb Ray Ban Avaitors after having them for 25 years and I hate to admit it I was addicted to them. I was hesitant to buy the new ones manufactured by Luxottica but I have to admit these fit and look just like the originals. Years back when Ray Ban parted ways with Bausch and Lomb I was disappointed and upset that my beloved Ray Ban sunglasses wouldn't be the same. I needn't have worried. Twenty years later and Luxottica has yet to fail me. I tend to keep sunglasses until they're nearly unwearable, although this Outdoorsman pair replaces ones that were lost. Even then I'd had them for 3 or 4 years and they were still in great shape. Amazon delivered them a day early and the added cleaning/repair kit was a nice touch. Amazon describes the lenses as green crystal. This is incorrect. These glasses have Ray Ban's G15 lenses, and while they appear to be green, are actually a neutral gray color. The G15 stands for Gray/15% light transmission, meaning they block out 85% of incoming light. I keep reading where some folks are, or think they are receiving fakes. Rest assured, the pairs I received are the real deal. I hope to keep these for as long as they'll last, which should be years. ... show more
