I love Ray-Bans and have so many different pairs; both lost and in my current inventory! Style: What can I say? They are Ray-bans, and these give off a certain cool that is synonymous with this brand. And this Clubmaster classic does not disappoint; I've gotten a few compliments here and there! Clarity: With all raybans, they are just really dark, so you will lose the ability to see very slight details in your foresight. Sun-blocking: as I got these in the last days of summer and only got a few sunny days so far this fall, I can't give a definitive answer if these would be better than some similar-priced Polaroid versions.

We have been used to either ordering safety glasses that have a sunglass shade to them or cheapies from the corner drug store when we can no longer see out of the previous pair of plastic glasses that are too scratched to be clear. Many years ago, we opted for sports shades when we were into more active sports and required the impact resistance. Those shades were costly, but also suffered from scratching, regardless of how "scratch resistant" the Oakley's or Gargoyles claimed to be. Well before these brands came on the market, there was Ray-Ban. Decades ago, the elite and cool sported the brand and everyone took notice. These iconic shades have stood the test of time and remained the cool go-to for those seeking style and quality without the senseless bling factor of gaudier looking named brands. We received this pair of Clubmaster Classic glasses and were instantly wowed by the quality of the build. Manufactured in Italy, these stylish classics looked great. The frames claim to be acetate, but there is a fair amount of sparkly metal connecting the eyepieces and rimming the lens. Besides the wow-factor, these glasses also come with a complete care kit including a couple of microfiber cleaning cloths, a mini screwdriver, a bottle of cleaner and a case to contain all of these accessories. The glasses are also contained within their own case, each of which are structured to resist crushing. The fit of these glasses is a little small, so if your face or head are wider, order the larger sized lens. We are accustomed to larger sized lenses, so we noticed the Clubmaster rides a little lower on the bridge of our nose. We trust we can adjust the nose piece a little to have it grasp our schnoz a little higher, but if not, we are fine with the coverage they afford without adjustment, it's just a matter of taste. The frames are solid and hook our ears well without binding or cutting into our temples. The shade color allows great glare and sun mitigation. We are a bit worried about bouncing these around in our work truck, so these will be delegated to the Sunday drive in the fancy car glasses. We love them.

As a fan of premium sunglasses, I can confidently say these Clubmasters represent Ray-Ban at its best. The Black on Arista (gold) colorway is the most iconic version of this model, and the G-15 green lenses are exactly what you want - they're the original Ray-Ban lens color, offering true color reproduction while effectively cutting glare. At 49mm, these are the smaller size Clubmasters, which I find work better for medium faces. If you have a larger face, you might want to consider the 51mm model instead. The high bridge fit is excellent if you have a defined nose bridge, as it prevents the frames from sliding down. The build quality is typical Ray-Ban - solid metal upper frame with acetate lower rims, and hinges that feel sturdy without being stiff. What really sets these apart from cheaper alternatives is the optical quality of the glass lenses. The G-15 lenses provide superb clarity while blocking 85% of visible light and 100% of UV. Unlike cheaper sunglasses that just make everything darker, these maintain contrast and natural color perception. The included eyewear kit is a nice touch, though what matters most is that you're getting authentic Ray-Bans, made in Italy to proper optical standards. Are they worth the premium price? If you appreciate quality eyewear that will last for years with proper care, absolutely. These aren't just sunglasses - they're precision optical instruments that happen to be iconic fashion pieces as well.

These are great glasses, the club design is great. My head is a little wide but these fit well enough. The premium cleaning kit is nice as well as I use it with my other glasses, which makes this a great bundle deal. These are that military pilot green, which is my favorite lens color. Overall great quality shades.
