  • You ask why these are so much cheaper?
After doing some research, I found these are priced less because the boxes they came in are slightly messed up. For example: my box had a black streak on the corner. Nothing to be worried about, but opticians and resellers end up selling these as overstock. As to the glasses: perfect and legit. Everything checked out for legitimacy. You either like these glasses on you or not, so I won't critique the style. If you are curious about the fit, go to your local sunglass reseller and try them on. Then come home, order them and save $50! The rubber is grippy and unique (feels sturdier, sportier, and more expensive). I haven't seen any like mine out there before. Cool beans! If you think these are fake you are : 1) an idiot or 2) someone who likes to complain (you know who you are). They have all the signs of a legitimate pair (best way to look is look for the tiny RB letters ETCHED into the glass). Trust me (and the guy at Sunglass Hut who agrees) these are the real deal. ... show more

  • Great shades, great value!
I love these sunglasses! I opted for the 52mm size. I am a 30 year old male with an "average" size face/head I would say. I tried the 55mm version a few months ago and they were just bigger than I preferred. The 55mm fit comfortably on my temples, but the lense size/circumference was just too big for me. I prefer glasses with a good fit and a smaller lens. These 52mm Ray-Bans fit the bill perfectly. There have been many reviews saying the 52mm are way too small, look like they're sized for kids, etc. I couldn't disagree more. It just depends on what kind of look/fit you're going for. I personally think sunglasses that are too big for me look kinda clown'ish...so I try to go smaller. :) I went with the black rubber frames. I really like both the look and feel of the finish. They have a sort of "matte" look to them, and they are soft and comfortable to the touch. The lenses also offer nice shade...they aren't too dark, and they aren't too light. It's right in the sweet spot for me. I chose the "regular" lenses over polarized. I just couldn't justify paying that much more for polarized lenses. Overall I am very happy with these sunglasses. I feel that they are a solid value at $75. ... show more

  • 52mm or 55mm? Is it Rubber or Matte?
I am a male and have a narrow face. I purchased the 52mm and the fit is perfect! To say men should only wear the 55mm is like saying all men should wear 34" pants or you are not normal. Everybody is different and so is the width of our faces. I recommend you get what you feel comfortable with. I was not looking for the over-sized 'nerd' look, simply something that actually fit my face. These fit me perfectly and I'm extremely pleased with them. Look, feel, comfort, style, everything about them. I was looking for the Matte finish and was not clear if that is what I would get when ordering this. They also had what was clearly marked matte with a full retail price tag. I took a chance thinking this description is how I would describe them. Received exactly what I was looking for and saved $50! Wore these on my weekend bike ride and not once did I have to adjust them; meaning push them back into place. They stayed in place the entire time no matter what without being too tight or uncomfortable. I cannot say that about any other pair of glasses I have owned; prescription or other. I love the new design and am very pleased. So much so I am taking these to my optometrist to put in prescription lenses. I normally do not write reviews cause 'who cares' what I think, but had to share my thoughts in case someone was on the fence about these. (The ladies in the office love them too!! ;)) ... show more

  • Love it - But material is not GLOSSY
Purchased as a gift to myself for the Christmas 2021 holiday. Great price and yes it's the real deal. Can't say anything about sun protection and/or scratch resistant. Already had my prescription added to it w Transition Lenses added. This is my third Ray-ban 2132. Delivery was on time, came with the Ray-ban case, etc.. My previous ones are still nice and sturdy, had to upgrade my prescription (Getting Younger :-) THE ONLY THING IS it's not the glossy feel that I'm used to, but a rubber Matte feel. For me it's ok. That description was no where to be found on the Amazon purchase page. Any WHO. Hope this helps. ... show more

  • Consistent quality, good fitting shades, terrible case
I've had three pairs of Ray Bans and they always fit the bill when it comes to style, durability, and versatility. I love the way the 52 mm fit and don't take up too much of your face. Only problem I have with this brand is the terrible quality of their carrying cases. I recently bought a pair of tortoise shell wayfarers and the case broke within a month. The top of the lid just torn off and it's easy to tell they are of very poor quality. For a pair of sunglasses that costs over $100 I wouldn't expect fine leather, but at least something that lasts a while. My only criticism. ... show more

  • Classic look
Love the new wayfarers, unfortunately I keep losing them! This is my 3 pair

  • Cool and Classic!
I've always loved the classic look of Wayfarer glasses; however, the original Wayfarers just didn't look good on my face being simply too big. Nevertheless, I wore them religiously even though they kept constantly slipping off. Then I saw the updated, smaller version in the stores and it not only fit but looks great on my face. Very happy camper! Am not having any of the difficulties that other reviewers spoke of such as the squeaky hinges, the loose lenses, questions of authenticity, etc. These are definitely the real thing, feel very solid, and are well made (made in Italy). I got the black matte (rubber) version in the smaller 52mm size and am also ordering the green pair. The only little complaint I have is the RayBan signature on the right lens in the upper corner--the signature on the frame is enough and there's no need to have them on the actual lens as well. The left lens has a smaller, unnoticeable RB initial on it that can only be seen when looking very closely. I suppose it's for authenticating purposes but I don't like wearing items that advertise themselves. Other than that I highly recommend the RB2132! ... show more
