  • Very sturdy, Nice glasses
Color: Gold/G-15 Green Lens Width: 59 Millimeters
I purchased these glasses for my husbands birthday , He Alway wanted a nice pair of sunglasses. These are very well made. The gold is a very nice color, lenses are very clear and not too dark but just enough to shade sun. I tried them on myself and just in comparison to some of my cheaper 20$ glasses I can tell a huge difference with just the way they open, not flimsy at all . They feel very sturdy. The size was perfect for my husband, the lenses didn't look too small on him, they even looked nice on me as a petite 5'2 girl:) of course looking a bit larger on me (but I kind of like that look) I would actually consider purchasing some for myself. They come with a nice sturdy brown case so incase they are dropped or stepped on the case is durable enough to prevent sunglasses from breaking. ... show more

  • Awesome Sunglasses
Color: Gold/G-15 Green Lens Width: 59 Millimeters
I bought these same sunglasses from sun glass hut last year for 260 dollars while I was visiting a friend in Los Angeles. After loosing them over a month ago, we had a week of ridiculously sunny weather up here in the mountains and I couldn't stand not having my ray bans any longer. I called the store for the exact model number I bought and sure enough Amazon had them for under 100 dollars!! Thanks to prime they came in two days and from what I can tell are 100% genuine ray ban glasses, came in the same box with the same cleaning cloth, little pamphlet, and case as before. For having a pretty big head I still can't pull off aviators well but these are the exception, they fit feel and look awesome! Pretty mad I paid 260 originally but clearly they were that good looking in the first place so stop reading this review and buy them! Go to a store and try them on in person first if you have any doubts. ... show more

  • Just about perfect for me — nice, small aviator without the extra large tear drop
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green Lens Width: 56 Millimeters
I'm a fan of aviators but they usually look ridiculous with my face shape — I'm not a fan of the large tear drop. As advertised. Well made, came with all the Ray-Ban accessories. Look great. It was my understanding that this particular Ray-Ban was made in China, mine were stamped Italy. I suppose they manufacturer these in both. I don't think it would make much of a difference if they were made in China, but kind of nice they were made in Italy. If you're looking for a small aviator, check these out for sure. ... show more

  • PERFECT sunglasses!
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green Polarized Lens Width: 59 Millimeters
I'm deployed to equatorial eastern Africa and I desperately needed a pair of sunglasses. Unfortunately, finding sunglasses that fit and look okay on me is a painful, exasperating process. I'd originally found these at the Navy Exchange in San Diego, but even there with no sales tax they wanted close to $200. Of course, these were the ONLY sunglasses that looked, not only okay, but GREAT on me. For quality shades AND they look good on me, that's not a terrible price, but a bit of a pinch on an enlisted salary. So, I waited a bit, and found there here on Amazon for $50 less, AND my mother had just given me an Amazon gift card for my birthday. So, polarized Ray-bans (saving my eyes in Africa) that look fantastic on me, AND I got them for $80 with shipping. Oh, and did I mention they survived the military mail system AND got here two weeks early? What's not to love?! ... show more

  • They are NOT Ray Ban Crystal Glass lenses
Color: Gold/Clear Gradient Brown Lens Width: 56 Millimeters
I wanted glass lenses and they sent me polycarbonate. If you're looking for lightweight semi-aviator styling then these are for you. In fact, I'd say they are perfect if you're wanting or willing to accept poly lenses. I've just had too many plastic lenses show heavy scratching over a relatively short time. Glass doesn't scratch and it provides the best optical clarity. There are only two small drawbacks to glass. They are a bit heavier and they will crack or possibly shatter if dropped wrong. A properly annealed glass lens should last a virtual lifetime. as should quality metal frames. If I'm being 100% candid, I've never really understood why people are willing to accept polycarbonate lenses. In my view, the only beneficiary is the manufacturer. Think about it for a second. Polycarbonate is very cheap and fully annealed glass isn't. Duh! It's likely a safe assumption that grinding out perfect lenses is basically the same for both, so it really comes down to two things, in my view. Durability and durability. If someone is willing to accept distracting scratches in a relatively short time then by all means buy poly. You'll make the manufacturers very happy because they know you'll be back when you've worn out your current pair. Ralph Nader is rolling over in his grave. ... show more

  • Love my new Ray Bans
Color: Gunmetal/G-15 Green Polarized Lens Width: 59 Millimeters
I've been wearing Ray Ban sunglasses since 1985 and can't say enough good things about them. From my first pair of Wayfarers to this latest purchase they have been the best. This is my second pair of Ray Ban Cockpits (the first pair is classic gold/green) but my first pair of polarized and the difference is really noticeable. This was a great price for a pair of polarized aviators and I would definitely recommend them. The service was fast and the product definitely lives up to the Ray Ban name. I've read reviews that say these are "knockoffs" because some have the made in China stamp on the ear piece but they don't have all the information. Luxotica has a facility in China as well as Italy and there are a number of ways to authenticate whether or not they are "knockoffs". Some things to look for on the aviator/cockpit/caravan models are the RB etching on the lens, the RB engraving on the nose pieces and the serial number. All in all a great pair of sunglasses and you can't go wrong for the price. ... show more
