I love this dog food, almost as much as my doggo's love it. I have a 15 year old daushund mix that is 11 pounds, and the pickiest eater you could imagine. It is time consuming and a lengthy process to get him to eat any dog food at all, or anything that fully amounts to a complete nutritious meal. He has always mostly picked at his food, and that has not changed in his old age. I primarily make his dog food myself, since I had never found a dog food that he would eat. I always worry about him getting the proper nutrition. I ordered this product because it is one type of dog food I had never tried before. I had never even seen this type/ blend of kibble before. I offered it to him with low expectations, and to my surprise, he LOVED it. I will add that he wasn't really as big of a fan of the kibble pieces as he was the meaty freeze dried ones, but he did eat the kibble when he had finished all of the other pieces. This was incredible and wonderful at the same time. In the past, at this age, sometimes we have had to entice and stimulate his appetite in different ways to get him to begin eating. Additionally, I let my Aussie try it, and she enjoyed it as well. So, I went online to order more, and found the price to be so so high, I could not afford it. I have been watching it ever since to see if it goes on sale at all, but it hasn't yet, as far as I know. I'm incredibly sad about this. It is over $50 for a 4 lb bag, and that is just too much. Feeding my little guy home cooked meat from the grocery store is cheaper than this is. At least I am able to find managers specials and mark down meat options. I try to supplement some veggies and vitamins, but he just won't eat them for me. So, at this point, I have started a side savings jar for this food lol. Idk what else to do honestly. I'm hoping this works out, and I do understand that in order to make high quality, nutritious, and delicious dog food like this, it isn't cheap. So I can't blame the seller or maker of this brand. I will continue to watch for sales, and I will be trying to add to the doggo food fund 😉. I definitely recommend this dog food to anyone with furbabies, IF the price is not an issue.

I recently switched to this freeze-dried raw chicken recipe dog food, and it’s been a game-changer for my dog. The combination of kibble and freeze-dried raw pieces is not only nutritious but also seems to be a big hit with my pup, who usually gets bored of her food pretty quickly. I love that it’s made from cage-free chicken and doesn't include any wheat, corn, or GMO ingredients. It’s reassuring to know I’m feeding her something clean and wholesome. The fact that it’s suitable for all life stages is another huge plus, especially since I have both a senior dog and a younger one. Both of them enjoy this food, which is quite rare! They seem more energetic and their coats are shinier since switching to this diet. The 4.4 lb bag is a convenient size too – not too bulky but still lasts a good while, even with two dogs. As SOON as I brought the Amazon box inside, my dog REALLY wanted whatever was inside. He only got more excited when I pulled the bag from the box. My dog is no stranger to trying different food flavors and such. He’s able to experiment without tummy troubles, so I mix it up every now and then. So I know his interest wasn’t just that it was food or new. He didn’t respond that way normally at all (to other dog food). Usually when I put food in his bowl, he eats later when things are calm and he’s hungry. With THIS food, as soon as I open the pantry door to open his food storage bin, he’s all over it. And he eats at least some of it immediately. He doesn’t normally do that! He just loves this stuff, apparently he loves the smell AND the flavor. So you have at least one big fan! The food looks to be of high quality, the packaging was really sturdy.

Our dog was never very motivated by his daily food. We stuck with one brand from the start, and although he was okay with it at first, he quickly lost interest. We tried switching to a different brand, transitioning him slowly, but the same thing happened. However, he absolutely loves his freeze-dried treats and will do anything for them. When I saw this food with freeze-dried raw meat mixed in, I decided to give it a shot, hoping it would keep his interest. To my surprise, he was really excited about it. I mixed a bit of this food with his regular kibble, and he only ate the new food, leaving the rest behind. While he might eventually get bored of this too, I’m sure he'll at least enjoy the freeze-dried pieces. Overall, I think most dogs would love this kibble and raw mix. However, at around $60 for a 4.4-pound bag, it's quite expensive. In hindsight, I might have stayed with his previous brand and just added freeze-dried toppers, which would be more cost-effective. Unfortunately, our pup has some stomach sensitivity issues, so we’ve decided to switch him to a gastrointestinal diet for now.

I ordered this as more of a treat for my dogs. I mix about 1/2 cup with their regular food and they gobble it right up. The ingredients are good for them and it hasn't upset their stomachs at all. I feel good that they are getting nutrients not found in their regular food. The first time I gave it to them, they weren't sure about it and took a minute doing the sniff test. Once they tasted it, it was pure enjoyment. It is a small bag which does not last long based on their size, but small portions work for them using it mixed with their regular diet. I am happy to see them love their food.
