But Rawlings is always durable and put together well, breaks in well, my son is 14 and works great for his infield position. Prolly not for bigger handed or the size we got anyway. Price is accurate for this purchase , it’s a gorgeous glove, and he’s catching and fielding balls left and right.( of course this isn’t the glove, you can do that with any glove). But it’s made well and looks great ! This will be his infield glove through high school (I say that , but I know better being married to a coach lol) ... show more

This mitt is top notch. Bought for 12U catcher. Will take some time or money to break in. Son says this has better feel than his current R9. If breaking in yourself expect a month or more before game ready.
