My son swung a Rawlings Big Stick Birch 110 33" bat for almost 3 summer league seasons. That thing hit bomb after bomb. Several of his teammates loved it so much that they used his bat instead of their own. It's a balanced, stiff, powerful bat when you square up the ball. My son personally hit many home runs with it. Of course, it eventually broke. Any wood bat will break on hard contact down towards the handle or at the very end of the barrel. If you can't tolerate that, don't play in a wood bat league. For the money, Rawlings' Big Stick Birch 110 is one of the best choices in baseball for a quality wood bat. ... show more

These are great maple bats at a great price! Includes a quality control ink dot. I ordered two of the 34” bats expecting the usual 31 oz weight. They were actually 29 oz and 28.6 oz, so be aware they might be a little lighter than expected.

Don’t waste your money. The bat broke after my 13u swing it about 12 times. No warranty on Rawlings wood bats. Feel bad for the kid. He saved and spent his own money on it.

    • AMAZING "Pop" and Big Sweet Spot
I saw this bat review on various YouTube channels and they were shocked how good it was, neck and neck with $200+ bats. I figured I'd give it a try and WOW. I played my first game with it and was killing the ball. I broke so many bats over the years; expensive MLB ones, cheap ones, Axe bats (broke three of them)... I've tried them all. Honestly, this has the most "pop" out of them all. It has a nice "thunk" echo to it when you hit. There was one slider going away from me, I wristed it off the oppo wall with this bat. Plus, the sweet spot is big on this. It's end-loaded (which I like) but the ball is live off of the a lot wider area than most wood bats. I just stopped using the Axe bats but they had like a three inch sweet spot. Also, for those who don't know, this is more of a narrow grip that tapers nicely to the knob. There's a lot of nice whip action on it. Overall, I really am loving this bat. I honestly came on here to buy a second after my first game with it. ... show more
