Ive been using this brand shea butter and other products for years. I find the quality of this butter to be pretty good quality because the it has a smooth texture and it last for years before going rancid, as ive never had any gone rancid. I buy it by the pound and the more you buy the better the price, but for my use getting it by the pound is a good deal. Shea butter has a slight scent but it is natural as it is 100% shea. If you smell anything more then that it could be bad, but they have great customer service if you happen to have an issue. This product may feel greasy if used alone but it does absorb eventually. I use this to make a body butter so i mix with a few other ingredients and use for an all over moisturizer.

I have bought various Shea butters in the past but a must say that this “Better Shea Butter” brand is perfection. It came with an inner seal, looks and smells very fresh and melted onto my face and easy to spread. It has that faint Shea Butter smell which I love because it is so natural. It gives the skin a beautiful glow, softens the skin and moisturizes like a champ. It is nice to know I am not putting a chemical based cream on my face, and it can be used on the lips as well, as it is completely safe and non toxic when consumed. It is the ultimate moisturizers. Very happy with this brand.

WOW Just wow honestly. My partner and I had snagged some shae butter from Target a while back, it was so grainy and no matter how much we rubbed our hands together we were still left with crumbles of shae butter that never melted. After we ran out, we decided to see what else we could find and gave this a go. And WOW lol it's so satiny, buttery soft. It melts in your hands in literally 3 seconds. And the value of this is awesome. Zero scent that I noticed, you really don't even need to mix things with this to get awesome hydrating benefits for your hair and skin (we use this instead of lotion and conditioner). Awesome product, going to get a wide lipped glass jar to keep mine in so it's not just in plastic

The shipping was fast and the shea butter arrived well-packaged and in fine condition. The shea butter is very good quality. I saw some reviews that "it stinks". I don't think it stinks and neither does my boyfriend. It has a nutty smell. You do have to get used to it but it's not unpleasant to me, however I suppose that can be a personal preference. I have found this shea butter heals the skin. I LOVE it as a facial moisturizer, because it doesn't clog my pores. Coconut oil always made me break out. And I've had skin that could easily break out with most moisturizers, including jojoba oil. Apparently shea butter is a ZERO on the comedogenic scale of 0 to 5 (coconut oil is a 4 which explains to me why it clogged my pores and broke me out every time I tried to use it). I was a bit wary to use it on my face, but I can now say after use for a couple of weeks that I had no breakout at all, and my skin is looking wonderful - I especially love using it as an eye cream. It really improves the skin around the eye area and doesn't irritate my eyes, unlike the many expensive eye creams I've used, which did jack s*** for my eye area. This makes my skin healthy. It heals cuts and wounds. It is great for hands, feet, everything, and ALL natural. I don't like the recipes to add it to coconut oil because for me, coconut oil just cheapens the wonderful rich shea quality. I mixed it with lavender essential oil and use it as my face and eye cream. Totally will buy this again. The free ebook comes as soon as you enter the confirmation code from your order, so it was prompt. While I didn't use all the recipes, it's nice to have some guides on how to mix it up. I will use it with many essential oils for various uses. Great product, great service. I do wish it was a little less expensive, but other than that, 5 stars! UPDATE JULY 30, 2015 I'm pregnant with our first baby (30 weeks - over 7 months) and used this as a pure moisturizer throughout, it has worked nicely, still never causes any breakouts either. I use it on my belly, and any areas where women get stretch marks, after every shower. So far, my skin is supple and never has itched (I hear many pregnant women get itchy skin on their bellies because the skin is stretching). I make sure to drink lots of water and use my shea butter on my skin, and have felt quite comfortable, so I like this a lot. I've already ordered a couple of times, and will certainly order again.
