I bought this for my 6-year-old daughter as a Christmas gift. It’s been a fun project for her winter break. It took two afternoons for her to put them together, though some parts are a bit tricky and I had to help her out, like putting together the pillar and the dome. The completed castle looks amazing. You’ll just need some place to display it. I like it also because it has scenes from both Frozen 1 and Frozen 2. My daughter is a big Frozen fan and she recognized all of them. I took one star off for two main reasons: 1. If you’re used to play LEGO, the quality of these pieces is not comparable. Right out of the box, one of the roof pieces was broken. And when we put them together, more little pieces went broken (see pics). The damage is minor so I just glued them back and it didn’t affect anything so I didn’t bother returning it. And the quality of the printing is a bit flimsy too. 2. If you’re into jigsaw puzzles, this one does NOT give you the same experience as putting together a regular jigsaw. There’s number and arrow on the back of each puzzle piece to guide you through. I think it makes sense because 3D pieces need to be put together in certain order. So we’re basically sorting numbers. Very fun puzzle. Certain pieces are hard to assemble and the little hooks are hard to get off the pieces. All in all it was very enjoyable and would recommend to anyone up for a challenge.
