Awesome
A fantastic product that is well made and delivers the thrills. The inflated floor cushions the blows well and the kids absolutely love it. A massive hit on the lake and the effect of the rave tail had a lot of other boaters talking. If you are looking for a quality made product that can handle what abuse you can throw at it than this is the product for you.

Not as good as a Viper 2
I bought this as a replacement to my Viper 2, which got a leak in a seam of the bladder. This Rave towable is of high quality materials and workmanship, but whoever designed it wasn't much for hydrodynamics. It is very fussy as to the air pressure and its performance, and will dive the nose if either under or overinflated. Also, the tow connection is very low, and will cause the tow line to catch in the wake and push up spray a lot. When inflated "right", it performs ok, and will catch good air. I find the rooster-tail a bit gimmicky; it isn't needed, and does seem to detract from performance, although I wonder if it was added to correct for the earlier-mentioned nose-diving downfalls. In general, this tube is adequate, but next time, I'll go back to a Viper 2. **UPDATED - With two summers of very light use, the tube has ruptured and can no longer be used. It ruptured on a seam so no way to repair. Ultimately, the nose-diving it was prone to doing took it out. Very poor design and way too short lived for the money. Very disappointing.

Good tube
This is the second time I've purchased this tube. I still love it, but the first model I purchased was better. On the current model, the tow rope tends to hit the water between the boat and the tube. This causes the water to splash in the face of the riders. Overall, still a great tube!!

Rubbed kids raw!
Well, we have used it twice, and the cover is ripping on the back for no reason. Also, it rubbed two little girls (13 & 14 yrs old) raw on their upper thigh and buttock on their right side. I'm not sure why. The kids are already requesting a different tube because this one is hurting them and not fun because of the rubbing. It also rubbed the arm raw of another little boy (14 yrs old). It's very disappointing to spend this much money, and we can't use the item. It's also a pain to inflate. It will twist within the cover which makes it hard to keep straight and reach the bladders. The good part...hmmm. We all prefer the old Airhead tube we had before. I can't truly think of a good part about this tube..... oh, the bottom inflatable pieces stayed in place better than the Airhead. That's the best part!

Good Towable but goes underwater at times!
Very Good towable but sometimes when I go slow the towable goes under the water, so I would reccomend this towable if you go fast.

Fortunately, the two kids were good swimmers and
Upon arrival, the RAVE Sports Tirade II had a tiny leak which we discovered after we put it in the water. It took on water and the front end dove down into the water quickly submerging 2 grandchildren. Unbeknowst to me, a similar event occurred to by granddaughter's friend's RAVE. What we thought was a relatively safe towable turned out to be dangerous. Fortunately, the two kids were good swimmers and, of course, were wearing life jackets.

Poor Quality
Not at all durable, the flange glued on to the back of the tube to shoot water in the air came off on the second usage, 2 leaks developed in the bladder with no apparent damage to the canvas cover.
