My 6' tall 14 year old son learned to ski on these his second time out. These skis are fairly wide and very stable, and he pops up out of the water almost instantly. As a much heavier person I found them very easy to get up on as well and very stable. Very forgiving skis to learn on. These skis seem heavy but I don't have much to compare them to, so they can be a little clumsy trying to put them on in the water, but are plenty buoyant and easy to control once they are on. Great skiis, perfect for a beginner. Bought these for my daughter but unfortunately, even on the tightest setting, they are loose on my size 9 feet. She wears a 7, and flew right out of them.

These skis are solid and fun for any skill level. Bought a pontoon as a 40 year old and hadn't skied in years. Still got up the first time. More experienced skier buddies say that they can't tell the difference between more expensive skis.

Update: the loops on the back of the boot have torn through on both skis and the bottom of one boot is starting to tear. Only had them for 3 months, definitely expected better quality. Would not recommend —-Amazing beginner skis. Easy enough for me to get up on skis in a couple tries after not skiing for 10 years. Also works well for someone slaloming!
