Normally when you boil instant ramen on the stove, sometimes you get the noodles right and they're soft but still chewy, and sometimes they're over-cooked and just too soft. With this rapid ramen cooker, it makes consistent tasting noodles every time. I've owned a set for years and I just bought another 2-pack for my nephew in college (it's a staple). Not a slight, but if I had to add one thing, when you're finished with this, you might want to add some hot water to your noodles because it doesn't take much water to get this to work, but I find some hot water after the 4 min, makes the ramen taste less salty. ... show more

I really didn't expect it to work. Even after seeing the review on Sorted yt channel. You put a ramen pack in, you put water in, you microwave it. The advice to use less seasoning packet is a good one, because this cooks with much less water than traditional cooking, because the pan is almost the same size as the noodles. You also may want to cook it or leave it in the hot water for a bit, or the noodles are a little bit underdone. Overall? A great thing for an office or workplace where you don't have a stove, but have a microwave. If you have a stove, use the stove. ... show more

I honestly dislike packaged ramen because the ingredients are terrible. I actually used this product to make light, fluffy scrambled eggs in the microwave, and add a little cheese to it. Yes, you can microwave scrambled eggs in this dish and they taste good. No oil or fat added to the dish.
