Taken this out on a few rounds. Seemed accurate enough. Not that I've verified but if it's a yard or two off in either direction that doesn't bother me since I don't hit my irons accurate enough for a little variance to matter anyways. I will say after purchasing this I played 2 of my best rounds in a long time, not sure if that's more on the range finder or me but having better estimates than the app on my phone for sure helped. Pros: - USB-C charging is great. I can always give it a charge in my car on the way if I need to. - Super light and easy to use. - Can turn the slope on/off in the event you want to use it in competitive rounds and they care. - Flag lock on is amazing and easy to use. Way better than other setups I've seen at this price. - Battery Life seems great. Hasn't died yet since I first charged it. Cons: - No magnet, but can't expect that at this price. If you really want that just glue one to the side. - Carry case isnt super premium or anything, but again that's not something I'd expect for this deal. - Every once and a while I'll get a false reading but it'll be so off you can tell I need to measure again. That's honestly more likely user error by missing the flag than the devices fault. (Pretty easy to guess that Par 3 wasn't 300 yards...) It gets it right the second time regardless. Absolutely would recommend for new golfers or anyone on a budget. ... show more

If you’re not a stickler for brand names, I would definitely recommend this product! Works great, have never had an issue with it. Walked a golf course recently, and this came in handy. Only issue was when looking directly into the sun, the rangefinder was unable to yield a reading. UPDATE 2/18/24: last few rounds of golfing (about 5-6 rounds) I have compared my range finder to Callaway brand and I have been off by about 10yards. This is one of the best range finders I've ever owned. The accuracy was on point, the buttons and guides were easy to use, and the eye sight was crystal clear. I bought the version with the magnet included and I found it so handy being able to attach to a golf cart while playing a round. A little background for context: I've owned several Bushnell Pinseekers and 2 different Nikons over the years. Those options all did really well at picking up a pin at up to 220-250 in a matter of a few seconds. I won't go into what my handicap is/was... nobody believes that anyway. What I will say, is that I have many quality years of experience... usually playing at least 100 rounds a year and relying on laser range finders to give me an exact distance to the pin. GPS is just fine and really convenient but I'll still check with the laser to be sure. I personally don't use the slope function, so I can't really comment on that. I just want to know the exact distance from my eyeball to the stick. I'll make my own adjustment based on elevation and wind. Now, to the review of this particular scope: This feels well made, has lots of functions, is lightweight and I really wanted to like it. For the price (I think I paid around $50) I wasn't expecting much but figured that maybe it might hold me over for a few rounds. Unfortunately, for all the good things it has going for it, it just doesn't do the most important thing for me. Which is, give me a quick and accurate distance on a regular basis. Once in a while I can get it to lock on a pin inside 150 yards... but not on a reliable basis. Sometimes I can't even get a reading to a pin from 50 yards. It's weird how it works accurately on random occasions. When I do get a distance, it does seem pretty accurate. It's just too frustrating trying to lock on (even with a steady hand) and coming up with nothing except an eventual distance to something in the background. If you've ever owned a higher end laser rangefinder and bumped the lenses out of alignment, then you know this frustration. To be fair, maybe I just happened to receive a unit that was defective? I know how important it is to treat these things gently. It's a real pain in the rear having to send them back to be adjusted or repaired. In closing, I have to leave a low review because, despite it having a lot of great things going for it, it just doesn't do the important part reliably. I certainly wish this company the best success because I think it would benefit everyone who is enjoying this great game if there are more affordable options.
