THese work well - great price, solid construction. Fairly easy to hit (though it won't FIX your swing). I've been a golfer for many years, but had to step away from the sport due to work and life in general. Now that I've got more time, I starting back up. I am just getting back into golf and this is a great set to start hacking at the ball again. Good quality and will not break the bank. I will get more expensive clubs as I get back into the game. Great starter set as well.

    • BUY THESE CLUBS!!!! Best “Bang” for the buck!
I bought this set of woods 8 months ago. I held off on reviewing them until I spent some time with them. I am an older golfer that still has above average club speed. So, let me say that I paid $129 for all three. (Driver, 3W and 5W) And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!! I thought for sure these would be in the rubbish bin by now. But these clubs are still near perfect condition after 8 months of county course 14 handicap play. So not the gentlest of play conditions. No one with their $400 drivers out drives me. The only thing that says these are not $400 each instead of $40 is perhaps the slightly hollow sound they make on good contact. Certainly I can overlook that. The 3W and 5W are 5out of 5 stars. I wouldn’t give these up for 3 times the price. The 3W off the tee is a beast!! The 5W off the fairway is automatic. The driver is only a 3.5 to 4 star in my opinion. And that is just because of accuracy. And let’s be fair. Perhaps it’s me! I just don’t get that confident feeling reaching into my bag for it like I do with the other two. But when I do hit it well, it doesn’t let me down. These clubs are NOT love at first sight. But if you don’t give these clubs a second or third try, you’ll miss out on a wonderful and totally satisfying relationship. I don’t even look at all the fancy high tech woods at the pro shop when I go in to buy balls or tees. Ok. The other small negative is I am starting to see a little more wear on the grips then I expected at this point. But come on! That’s such a cheap and easy fix. Like I said before.     • 3 and 5 woods seem good, but not the driver
I found that with the 3 and 5 woods I was able to get solid hits and the clubs felt good. Not so with the driver, which has the same graphite shaft as the other clubs. The driver felt too flexible, unbalanced, and had a weak sound. It had a slight tendency to rattle when striking the ball. Since the set is relatively inexpensive, it might be worth the price just to get the 3 and 5 woods. ... show more

Anytime you change a club, there will be an adjustment period. The woods are excellent and were an immediate upgrade to my 20-year old fairway woods. Definitely easy to hit. The driver feels like a powerful stick and I was able to hit it well after just one driving range session. Fantastic value!!
