- When you first spray this perfume it smells very similar to the Polo blue EDT. This perfume has that fresh shower gel smell. Though this is a blue perfume it doesn't necessarily smell aquatic to me. It smells fresh but more like the body wash fresh smell in a good way. - The dry down of this perfume is what separates this perfume from the polo blue EDT. This one has more depth and richness. This one feels smoother than the EDT version and the vetiver, patchouli and olibanum gives it some smokiness that makes this perfume interesting. - I can smell a good amount of patchouli in this perfume but it is blended well with the rest of the notes. - Because of all the aromatics and smokiness in this perfume i feel this is a more mature perfume in comparison to the EDT. - It does not have a great projection but it lasts about 7 hours on skin which is expected because this is a parfum version and is therefore expected to have greater concentration of oil. - This is a really good blue perfume and definitely a people pleaser. If you like Polo branded scents, you'll like this one. It's typical manly scent that's not overpowering. It leaves a fresh scent that doesn't turn sour on a warm day.

This cologne is a high end pleasant scent. I didn't realize it was a refill when I ordered it, but it still works. My son has been using it, and getting many positive compliments on it. It's not overpowering, it's a nice fresh scent.

This smells wonderful. It's not overpowering at all. It's a subtle smell but you can still smell it. The smell is calming and forest like. I think it would make a great gift as the smell would be liked by everyone.
