I like that you can adjust the length of the handle by taking segments out. This rake is exactly what I needed for starting up my garden. The rake head is help on by one bolt. It does come with an extra but I hope I won't need that anytime soon! It feels sturdy.

This metal rake is nice and seems sturdy for most garden needs. The handle is hollow and the peices are screwed together with plastic treaded connectors. The hollow handle could bend if too much force is applied but with normal use it should hold up well. The only con could be I'd you store your tools out in the sun it could get very hot to touch. The head of the rake seems well built and sturdy enough for you garden needs.

I love the adjustability of this. I have been using a rake to spread hay in the chicken run, and in that confined space the end of the rake is always getting caught in the fencing. This shorter rake is going to be great for that. The size is also great for shorter people or children. It was very easy to put together, I've gotten other things like this so I already knew about what to do. The price is certainly good compared to wooden handle versions in a supply store. There is only one complaint I have about this rake. Because it is many pieces and the head was not pre-attached, it wiggles a little. It doesn't interfere with the rake functionality. It just makes it feel cheap. It won't tighten down enough to keep it from wiggling.

I ordered this to use at a second property where it should get fairly light use and I'm not too worried about intense wear. I like the way the handle goes together, the threaded inserts feel very secure and the tube itself is thick and strong. Likewise the finish on both the stainless steel pole and the painted rake head are very nice and seem high quality. The rake head connection is the worrisome part. It attaches to the handle via a single very thin bolt with a lock nut. The bolt itself is only about 3 mm in diameter and it just doesn't feel strong enough to stand up to use. I wish it was permanently connected to the first handle section with rivets or something similar, like a traditional rake. That said, time will tell and the initial quality seems high.

I LOVE MY NEW RAKE!!!! This is so awesome! I am so happy with how well it is made. I was skeptical with the handle screwing together but it's super durable and so easy to handle. I didn't like the look of the rubber parts along the handle where they attach to each other, until I started using it. It gives you great spots to firmly grip the handle while working! Wonderful! The tines are super durable. The head is all one piece, rather than being screwed on or tacked into a wooden handle, which makes it way more durable. I'm SO happy with this!
