i liked the fact it was easy to hold my dog didnt mind me using it on his nails. the only draw bacl it took longer than and electric file to cut down his nails.

This dog nail file is so great. I have 2 dogs that hate their nails trimmed plus I don’t like doing it either . Groomers and vet clinics charge $15-$20 for each dog. My dogs don’t panic when I use it and this makes me happy.

What I like: The Raelitego Nail File for Dogs initially seemed a safer and viable option for my Husky's nails in comparison to the standard trimmers. The little sanding device makes negligible noise and it's a gentle approach to nail trimming. The device is helpful for smoothing and shaping the very tips of the dog's nails, and is specifically effective as a follow-up tool after clipping nails with a standard hand clipper, this can be helpful to reduce sharp nail-tips and reduce the potential of one's dog snagging a claw on carpet, etc. What I don't like: While he doesn't really seem to mind when I first approach with the device, he loses his patience with it, as do I, because it takes too long to make any measurable difference in nail length. Also, my dog's dewclaws grow twice as fast as his other claws, and unfortunately, the dewclaws are especially difficult to sand-down with this tool, as it's just too difficult to get the proper angle. After several attempts at trying to get the proper angle with the tool to sand his dewclaws, the old boy has had enough and starts obsessing and wondering why I keep messing with his paw. It just didn't work for me. I suppose if a person introduced this product to their pet from the time they were a young puppy, they'd probably get acclimated to it and go with the flow, but big boy's not having it. I would not order this item again.
